Hey! This is my first story on Watt pad, so cut my some slack. Comment if you like it or if i could improve it in any way, even the title. Comment if you want me to continue! Thanks!

The trees become a blur of red and yellow. i run faster and faster, until my breath becomes quick and uneven. i hear sticks and leaves crunch under my heavy shoes. i can hear them, their loud steps through the forest, they yell at each other.

"i can hear something! Over here!" Someone yells, too close. i fling myself forward, determined for them not to catch me.

then a clearing appears. i stop just before and begin to climb the closest tree; i use all my adrenaline to push myself up, to carry on.

in my head i am already forming an idea. a large group of people pass me in my hiding place, all of them dressed in black. Black cargo pants, black helmets, back shirts and big, black guns resting in the skilled hands. They wear bulky black boots that climb their legs to their knees. Protective gear covers every inch of their skin. The last person enters my line of vision. 'You will not make it to your friends', i think to myself. i feel the knife in my hand, it calms me, i take a deep breath and hold it close to myself as he stops right under my tree. Without a sound i jump down, my knife longing for blood. i land on his back with a soft 'thud'. I hold my hand over his mouth and, to mute him, i stick my knife into the only visible flesh, his neck, i pull it out quickly. the man buckles under me.

I yank him behind the tree. i look back, the group were beginning to disperse except for three who linger. i pat the dead man down, making sure he doesn't have anything i may need. i find two energy bars and a large bottle of water. i stow the three items in e large pockets of the own black cargo pants. i also take his gun, which helpfully has a silencer attached. i run my hand over it's sleek, familiar surface. i smile to myself. i climb back up the tree and take position on my branch. my gun trained on one person, at the back of the small group. they seemed to be yelling at someone on the opposite side of the clearing that's littered with autumn leaves.

"Be careful Brice! She was in Raven, don't be an idiot. She could kill you in a second!"

I take my chance and shoot the person, he falls silently to the ground, disappearing in the long, golden grass, the others dont seem to notice and continue to yell to Brice, whom ever he is.

I again take aim. i shoot the next person in the back of his head as he lands, skin, skull and everything else flies through the air and disappears in the grass. blood flows freely from his wound before he even reaches the ground.

i take aim at the last one.

"okay, whatever! Just go further into the forest, look around and take Brown and St. Cloud with you!" The man turns around. to my surprise he did not look surprised at all; he looked as if he had expected it.

" Come down Claire!" He says in a strong, clear voice, just as i remember.

I keep my gun trained on him, but my hands shake and i know i wont be able to pull e trigger.

" NO!" I shout, finally answering his question. He looks around, trying to find out where the voice had come from. He finds me; he looks up at me with pleading eyes.

"just come down, Claire. Come back home." When he finally realises that i will not move he talks again. " what do you want, Claire? If it's answers i can give them to you!" He looks desperate.

I think about this for a second. " You will tell me the story? Before i woke up, how my life was?" i can remember then even as i blink, the room i had woken up to, not remembering anything.

"I can i will tell you everything!" He almost shrieks. i begin to climb down, but my gun still aimed at his chest. i walk to him until there is only two or three metres between us.

"tells me then, Stone." I say in a menacing voice. " Tell me or my next bullet goes straight in your head."

"what happened to you? You use yo be kind and caring and not threatening." Stone says, staring at my gun. i put it down and i can see the relief flood his face.

"I grew up, Stone." i reply coldly. Glaring at him.

"Don't call me Stone, I'm Fabien to you." Stone smiles sheepishly.

"Stop wasting time! Tell me or i will kill you!" I put enough emphasis on 'will' that he cringes. Once so close, now we couldn't be further away from each other.

But to my readers i will have to tell you the story from when she opens her eyes at 17 years old, confused and bewildered. She woke to the world, Bema.

All i can see white. White light, white walls. I let my eyes focus, let them get use to the light. A face appears
