"Behemoth!" I shrieked in his ear, taking all of this in. It was him. It was actually him.. And he was.. Human?
I heard him chuckle, "Hey Mad."
"This isn't.. You aren't.. Ah!" I couldn't put the words together. Here I was, hugging the teenage boy who was once like a pet to me. His cold skin licked my lips. I tangled my hands in his silver hair, taking in the softness. "How!"
"I, uh, not too sure," He said, pulling away as he scratched the back of his head. Behemoth looked around, rocking on his heels as he went on with his story, "After you escaped, I was left with the hell hound. It was one hell of a fight, but I won." He smirked proudly, and I punched his arm, "Then after that I tried escaping as well, climbing high in the trees, before I was pulled back by a fallen angel who was helping Harry. I kicked my paws and pushed off of him, tumbling onto Earth, and then," He stepped back, showing himself proudly as he said, "This happened."
"Oh my gosh!" I squeaked out, astonished by the mesmerizing sight before me. "I can't believe it! This is absolutely incredible Behemoth," I covered my mouth in awe, and I saw a blush creep up on his pale cheeks. I ran my fingers through my hair, processing everything that was happening. Here I stood before my best friend who was formally a demon, Harry- who is a disgusting freak- either wants me dead or back with him, and Andy- oh shit! "Oh shit, Andy!"
Behemoth arched his brows. "Andy?"
I nodded, "I went to get drinks and-"
"This is great!" Behemoth yelled, grabbing me by the arms. I was taken back in surprise, "Every single damn day you kept going on and on about Harry and I couldn't say anything, now I can!" He looked me in the eyes, "You and Andy are meant for each other, and you're also a complete dumbass for ever thinking you loved Harry," He rolled his eyes as he said Harry's name.
"Oh, well thanks," I said awkwardly, and smirked at myself. I jammed my fist into his arm, earning a whine of pain as I added, "And screw you!"
He rolled his eyes, "Not my-"
"Madison?" I heard my name echo down the alleyway behind the bar. I spun around and watched as Andy slowly emerged from the inky black shadows, a look of relief on his face. He ran at me, wrapping his arms around me, "I thought I lost you, oh my god!"
"I'm okay," I said reassuringly, kissing his cheek. I ran my hand up and down his back, calming his nerves. I felt his chin lift up from my shoulder, and his chest vibrated as he asked, "Who's he?"
I turned around, standing myself in between both of them. I glanced at Andy, who stood firm with his arms folded over his chest, and I looked over to Behemoth, who awkwardly rocked on his heels, hands in his pockets. "Well, Andy, this is my friend..." I bit my lip. For some reason, I felt like Andy knew him, but my memory was still a bit fuzzy, "Behemoth."
Right when the name slipped out of my mouth all Hell broke lose on the Pier. Andy pushed me to the side, not enough for me to tumble to the floor. I watched as he jumped in the air, tackling Behemoth to the floor. Behemoth and Andy rolled around on the dirty floor, filling the air with grunts and groans as one tried gaining dominance. Andy pinned Behemoth to the floor with his right hand and drove a hard punch to his cheek with his left. Behemoth dodged the first but wasn't prepared for a quick second, and he kicked Andy off of him, sending him into the brick wall.
I quickly scrambled to my feet just in time for Behemoth to jump to his. He charged at Andy and I slid in front of him, taking a small hit to the stomach before he stopped immediately, stepping away. Sorrow filled his once angry eyes as he quickly said, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry-"
"It's okay," I gripped my stomach that was now throbbing but nodded at him.
"You bastard!" Andy yelled behind me, and I spun around as I watched him push himself off the wall. He walked angrily up to me and Behemoth, his face twisted with rage. "I'm going to kill you for touching her!"
