"NOOOOOOO!!!" a scream shattered through the night. Steve woke up. He felt sleepy, so he went downstairs to get some food. It was so quiet he didn't hear anything. Steve ignored the silence. He knocked over his own bowl of mushroom soup, and it shattered into pieces. "STEVE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING DOWN THERE?! GO TO YOUR ROOM AND SLEEP!"
There she goes again, Steve thought. His mother was gonna kill him. He quietly took a few pieces of bread and rushed upstairs.
Up in his room, Steve thought about his father. He had been gone for more than 7 days. Steve planned to find him. He vowed not to return home until he found his dad. He wondered of what his father said before he set off before his quest~ The search for Herobrine.
The next chapter is about what Steve's father said before setting off for his quest, maybe a flashback. And maybe the conconversation between Steve and his mother. Sorry for my short chapters, I'm not used to writing long ones yet. Anyway, thanks for reading!

"If I don't find him, I'll come back in around...4 days time. Bye!"
These were his father's last words before he left in search of Herobrine. He promised that, but...Steve groaned. He thought, Why? Why has my father not come back? He always keeps his promises!
His mom came down and noticed his worried expression. She knew why. "Steve...I know that your father..." she said. "THAT MY FATHER WHAT? I MISSED HIM SO MUCH! TELL ME WHERE HE IS?! TELL ME!!! YOU HAVE TO!!!" Steve demanded. He was determined to find out.
"Steve, please. Stop thinking about your father. Everything is going to be alright. I know that your dad has been missing, but please, calm down." Steve's mom said, with tears forming in her eyes."MOM! HOW CAN I FORGET?! I AM NOT COMING BACK HOME UNTIL I FIND HIM!" Steve shouted back.
