The Meet

        "Hi I'm Dawn." I say walking over to a kid a school. He turns and my wolf goes crazy. "Hi I'm Kayd." He said. His voice was deep and full of power. I could tell he was an Alpha, Beta, or Third. "Um I need some help." I say. I was trying to find a way to get him to continue to talk to me. "What do you need help with?" He asked me. "Well see we are in the same math class. You always get good grades and I need extra help with math." I say.

      'Smooth real smooth.' My wolf said.

      'Shut up Star.' I tell her.

    "Hey you in there?" Kayd asked looking at me. "Yeah in here." I say embarrassed. "I said that I can come over around 7:30P.M. if you like." Kayd repeated. "Yeah that would be great. My house is at 539 South Eagle Rd." I tell him. "Okay see you there." He said grabbing my hand. I felt a spark were we touched and saw Kayd felt it too.

        After he left I ran to last period and took my seat in the back. I was way ahead in the class so the teacher just let me do what I wanted as long as it didn't interrupt class. When the Bell rang everyone packed up and left. I was always last to leave and said bye to Mrs. Spirit and left.

       I ran all the way home and put my book bag in it's cubby. I put in my most favorite movie. It was The Time Of The Wolf. I laid down on my bed and watched it.

      "Dawn come and eat. Supper is done." My mom called up. "Coming mama." I call down. I get up and turn off the tv. I head down stairs and go to the dining room. Spaghetti was in the middle of the table. There was three cups of grape juice. It was just me and my mom so there should only be two.

     "Mom why is there an extra cup?" I asked. She smiled at me. "We are having someone eating with us." My mom answered. There was a knock on the door and I run to answer it. I open it and my dad is standing there.

         "Hello my little Dawn." Dad said in his husky voice. "Daddy." I cry out. I jump on him and rap my arms around him. He carred me in to the dinning room and put me down. Mom and dad hugged and we sat down to eat. After we eat dad tells us about were he was.

    He told us how the Alpha's he visited rejected his request to join their pack. "It's okay. We will find a good pack that will take us in." Mom said hugging dad.

     There was a knock on the door. Dad looked at mom. I looked at the clock. "Oh man I forgot." I said and ran to the door. I open it and sure enough Kayd is standing there. "Dawn who is it." Mom asked. "A friend from school to help with my math class." I said. Dad walked up beside me and invited Kayd in.

      "Hi I'm Dawn's dad, Bill." Dad said. "Nice to meat you I'm Kayd." Kayd said and they shook hands.

      'He is so hot.' Star said going crazy.
      'Star zip it.' I yell at her in my head.

       We went to the living room and dad sat with mom and I sat by myself. "Um question?" Kayd asked. "Yes what is it?" Mom said. "You are not going to try to hurt me or anything will you?" Kayd asked. I looked at him and was pissed off at his question. "No son. We are not normal rouges." Dad said. Kayd looked at us confused.

   "Sit and I will tell you." Dad said. "Is this wise?" Mom asked. "Yes he is an Alpha." Dad said. Kayd sat on the couch beside me. We were sitting very close.

   "We were once members of the Tiger Hunters Pack. I was Third in command until the Alpha tried to kill us. We left our family, friends, and things behind. The Alpha had the Beta and my brother attack us, but I killed my brother and injured the Beta. We ran and ran till we came here. We settled and started a live here.

     "I knew my family and I were rouges, but I still went to different packs to see if they would expect us. No one did and I have been concerned for my family ever since then." Dad explained.

   "Oh I had no idea. I'm sorry." Kayd said. Mom and dad nod. "Now I know why Dawn don't talk at school much." Kayd said looking at me.

     "Not just that. Dawn had a little sister and she died not long after we settled here." Dad said. I hung my head and whimpered. Star and I loved White so much and miss her even more.

      Kayd rapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry for your loss." He said. I nodded a thanks and felt the sparks again. I wiggled out of his grasp and Star whimpered.
