*Alex's POV*

The bitter shot burned down my throat and I felt the world start to spin even more.

Everyone around me cheered, and I giggled, hiccupping. Damn. Looks like I'm getting wasted tonight. "Hey, Alex." Someone purred behind me. I turned around and saw a girl with bleach blonde hair.

"Hey, baby." I mumbled, biting my lip. "What do you want?"

She smiled and shoved me against the wall, kissing me violently. The alcohol was rather worsening my usually good kissing skills, but I worked with it. Everyone around us cheered even louder. I don't even know why my friends are surprised anymore. I get with several different girls at every party we go to.

After my sloppy makeout session ended, I sighed and walked over to my friends. "Whoa. I'm guessing you had fun over there, dude?" My best friend Jordan chuckled.

"Yeah." I smirked.

"You should fuck her." Jordan wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"Funny one." I sighed.

So, as you don't know me, I'll give you a quick description:

My name is Alex, I have dark brown hair and brown eyes, and I'm quite tall. From the outside, everyone thinks I have a great life.

But that's not how it is at all.

To be honest, my life is a fucking train wreck. I'm basically an alcoholic, and I bunk school all the time. My school-life is non-existent in the sense that my grades are almost laughable. I used to be quite clever, but I got in with the wrong crowd of people and now I can't do anything.

I was standing with my friends, talking and laughing when someone shoved my side, jolting me from my thoughts.

Frowning, I turned around. In case the girl was trying to get my attention, I touched her shoulder. She spun around, looking startled. Her hair was a complete pitch dark colour, and her eyes were a dark, intelligent green. She looked amazing.

Something in her face told me that she was naive and innocent. She blinked at me, looking up and down at me.

"What's someone like you doing here?" I asked.

"Someone like me?" she said, sounding a little irritated.

"You look so... Innocent. Whatever." I shrugged.

"Oh... Erm... Okay..." she frowned, looking a little taken aback. "Do you know where Annika is?"

I chuckled at her reaction and pointed to the door. "Annika's in the garden."

"Thanks." She said and started walking towards the garden as fast as she could.

"Wait! What's your name?" I called after her. Something inside me drew me towards her. She seems kind of untouched, like no one had ever even spoken to her before. I'd never met anyone like her before. This girl was different to all the others.
