"Dear Laurence"

Part 1

Laurence sat waiting, garroth hade not been back yet. The town of phoenix drop had began to believe he wasn't coming back years past and no sign of him or Zane. Laurence didn't give up he sat awaiting his shield brother every day. At night he barely slept and what sleep he had was filled with pain and fear for garroth. He took one deep breath as he stared down at the pictures of the young guards they where, he felt a mass bringing him down to tears. He couldn't bare the pain of losing garroth. The tears flowed as fast as a waterfall. He fell down to the cold ground in pain.

" W-Why garroth, WHY!?"

A flapping noise came through the windows. A golden wyvern stopped in.

"raven? What's up? News of garroth? Anything?"

"I'm sorry Laurence nothing like that but I do have a letter for you, I don't quite now who from but take it anyway. I didn't bring you some paper to write back but I must go now farewell Laurence."

The wyvern flew off before Laurence could respond. He opened the letter, it was laced with a velvet ribbon the envelope was a lovely tan.

"what is this? Never mind."

He opened it with such precision and delicacy so not to ruin the velvet. He sat in confusion before he fought the remaining tears to read aloud.

"Dear Laurence,

I have seen your growth and bond with your close friend garroth. your courage is impassable your pureness is gold and garroth wouldn't have been how he was if you weren't there for him. I know you didn't understand when he said "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL LAURANCE" he had seed fear magics once more, his fear, was that lady apmau would pick you. He will prevail. He's not dead. He is still with Zane trying to defeat the scourge. Never give up and keep your spirits high. keep your chin up my love. Its not your fault love you didn't know, relax you did the right thing YOU saved us, only you.
