The first door was easy. A vampire. Garlic was hung on the wall ready to ward off the vampire. I hung the garlec around me, grabbed the key and went to room two. The next rooms were easy. A witch, werewolf, clown, zombie. What was this, nursery?
I got to the tenth room and it started to get stranger. In the room were two Weeping Angels. I looked for the key. Each of the keys were hung up in different parts of the room. I turned back to look at the angels and they had moved. Their hands were like claws and they showed off their sharp teeth. What? I blinked and they moved. Of course! The Weeping Angels. The Doctor had told me about them before. They are stone when you look at them but when you look away or blink they move. This was going to be tough. I could see a twinkle behind the angels and I slowly walked over to it keeping my eyes on the angels. I could just about reach it and I pulled it off of the hook it was on. I moved along the wall to the door and unlocked it. It was hard to find the keyhole because I had to stare at the angels but I found it and unlocked the door. I locked it behind me just to make sure.
The next room was dark and I couldn't see anything but a small blue light on the other side. "Turn some lights on!" I shouted hoping Xaviar could hear me. The lights came on and this was a mixture of nightmares and enemies. A Dalek stood in the middle of the room staring at me. To my right was a gun and scattered around the room were things to hide behind. The key was all the way on the other side of the room. "You will be exterminated!" The Dalek yelled. I grabbed the closest thing to me which was a metal bin lid. The Dalek shot at me but the shots bounced off the bin lid so I didn't get harmed. I was full of anger and I was also pretty scared but Xaviar must have known that the Dalek would have made me weak causing me to possibly regenerate if the Dalek hit me. I tried to shoot the Dalek in the eye so he would be blinded but I was more worried about finding the key. I was close to the door when I tripped and hurt my knee even more. I shuffled myself so I was sitting up against the wall. "Exterminate!" I quickly shot another bullet and it hit the Dalek straight in the eye. Bingo! I slowly stood up, grabbed the key and went to the next room.
I limped into the next room quickly locking the door behind me and putting the key in my pocket with the rest of them. A man stood with his back to me in the middle of the room. "Hello?" I said walking towards him. My hand went straight through his shoulder like a ghost or a hologram. The man turned revealing his burnt and scarred face. Oh god no. It was my dad. My mum and brothers came out from behind him staring at me with the same burns and scars. "You were never a good daughter." Dad said. "You left us to die and carried on with your stupid life. Selfish girl. Foolish girl." Mum said giving me an evil stare. "I thought I loved you. My baby sister. Turns out I was wrong. I found that out while dying." My older brother shouted. "Silly Anya, silly Anya." My little brother taunted.
"I'm sorry." I whispered, a tear rolling down my face. "I'm so, so sorry. I wanted to help. I really did!" "Fat lot of good that will do now. Why don't you shoot us eh? Kill us a second time." I looked at the gun in my hand and pointed it at my family. "You're not real. Oh god you're not real!" I shot and the holograms disappeared leaving a pile of ashes that I searched through to find the key. I wiped the tears from my eyes and left the room. Now Xaviar had taken it too far.I sped through the rest of the rooms. I was angry and wanted to get to Xaviar and the Doctor as soon as I could. I defeated Cybermen, Abzorbaloffs, Slitheen, ghosts. Everything. The last room was getting closer. The last room was empty and had two doors instead of one. "The last room Anya. Congratulations." Xaviar said. "And good job keeping that gun. That will be useful. Right, last test. You will now find two Doctors come through the doors. Your job is to shoot the one that isn't the real Doctor or we kill the real one before you can find him." Kill the Doctor? No thank you. But I didn't have a choice. It was either kill the fake one or have the real one killed. The Doctors came forward through the doors and started to speak. "Anya, I'm the Doctor. Please believe me." The left one begged. "That's not the Doctor Anya. I am! Can't you tell?" The right one asked. It was too hard. I couldn't shoot my friend, fake or not. "I'm not doing it! Do you hear me Xaviar? Now listen up. You let the real Doctor go and have me instead." I shouted.
"How about no? Kill him." The left door opened and the Doctor was shot while I was pulled back by another guard. I cried and ran to the Doctor. "Please don't change. I'm so sorry Doctor. I won't let them kill you just stay the same please. At least tell me if this is a trick. Please tell me this is a trick because I am terrified and I don't want a new Doctor all over again. I love you, okay. I won't let them harm you. Tell me this is a trick please." I pleaded but the guard from the other side shot him again as regeneration energy started to form around his hands. The other Doctor was disappeared like the hologram and I was left with the dead Doctor. I kissed his forehead and left the room filled with anger.
I eventually found Xaviar in a room that overlooked the whole test. "You made it." He joked but I just pointed my gun at him. "You think this is funny? I'll show you what's funny." I said.
"Now, now. We don't want you to kill in front of your best friend do we?" The Doctor was pushed into the room by some guards and the door closed behind him. How? I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his neck crying. "I thought you were dead." I whispered in his ear as he squeezed me tight. "Don't worry. It was all a trick." The Doctor comforted and kissed my cheek. I pulled out of the hug and pointed my gun at Xaviar. "I will still shoot this stupid man!" Xaviar stood there calmly smiling. "Oh Anya. Could you really pull the trigger?"
"Yes." I shot him. I didn't even think and now his blood is on my hands. The Doctor came and chucked the gun to the ground. I never wanted to pull the trigger and I just fell to the ground sobbing. The Doctor knelt down next to me and hugged me again as I cried in his arms for a second time. "I didn't mean to. I didn't."
We snuck back to the TARDIS where I just sat on the leather seat by the console and stared into deep space. The Doctor was quiet and just flew the TARDIS away. "I'm sorry." I said to break the silence. "Sorry for what?" The Doctor asked looking up from the console and coming to stand in front of me. "For shooting Xaviar. I didn't think."
"I know." I stood up next to the Doctor and leaned my head against his shoulder. "So, what now?" "You and me. Time and space. Why not?"
