Combat is the main priority to surviving a mob world. As you know, the regular world, without peaceful, are infested with hostile mobs as night passes. Your first day, once you create a new world, should be entirely free of hostile mobs except for those in mob spawners, caves, and many other dark undergrounds. Here I am going to elaborate proper assault and defence properties

Attacking any mob or Player does damage. Damage, which we all know, increases with the type of object you use to kill them. Weaponry are very different from tools-same concept, but different objective. As usual, the materials are the same as for tools.Generally, you have to survive in a world with complete mobs, and not just the food, but you need to kill mobs that are hostile to you, or you will get pounded relentlessly by hordes of mobs, and you definitely do not want you going back to where you were, and lose all your stuff.

The only mob to fear in the day is the creeper, and the other mobs are affected by the sun, with zombies and skeletons burning down, endermen teleporting to somewhere else, and spiders go neutral.

Here are tips on surviving with combat.

Sword-Craftable on a crafting table by putting a stick in the bottom row, and one desired material on top. Then another mat. above them. Swords, like normal tools, have their efficiency based on the material used. Diamond swords deal 5 hearts of damage to a mob or person without armour. Iron swords deal 4.5, and stone and gold swords deal 4 hearts. Wooden swords give 3.5 hearts of damage. Although golden swords have the same damage as stone ones, they have lower durability.

Armour-Consists of the helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. They protect you from the damage received. In combat armour, there are a special set of materials. Wood cannot be used, but leather from cows can be used. There is also a set of uncraftable armour, the chain set. So, the materials are leather, gold, chain, iron, and diamond, from the weakest to strongest. Strangely enough, the gold set is not the weakest this time.

Full diamond armour gives you the max. 10 armour points, full iron 7.5, full chain 6, full gold 5.5, full leather 3.5 points.

Crafting a helmet requires you to put three of the mat. in the top row, and one below the left mat., with another below the right one. Generally it makes an inverted U. It does not allow you much protection points.

Chestplate requires you to fill the whole 3x3 box with the mat., but the mat. in the top middle slot has to be removed. It gives the highest percentage of protection.

Leggings needs an arrangement like the helmet, but it needs an extra mat. in each of the bottom left and right of the box.

Boots require you to put one mat. on either side of the middle slot, and one mat. underneath both of them.

If you are seriously out of any swords, the axe is the 2nd most powerful, dealing half heart less than the sword of the same material, then the pickaxe, another half heart less, and lastly the shovel, which is the weakest. The hoe is useless. Wooden shovels, gold shovels, and hoes deal damage same to using your bare hands.

Bows are another way to kill mobs, and these are ranged stuff. Simply put three string in the leftmost column, then one stick beside the top one, and another beside the bottom one. Then, put another stick to the middle right, diagonal to both the other strings. Bows need arrows as ammo.

Arrows can be crafted by putting a stick in the middle one, a feather below it, and flint on top. This gives you 4 arrows.

Bows need to be charged. Right-clicking while holding a bow will cause the string to be pulled backwards, holding it increases the pullback distance, which increases the distance and damage. It reaches its maximum pullback when it starts shaking. Release to fire.

There are such things as critical hits. Critical hits occur randomly and you can tell if one has happened when you see brownish x particles flying out of your target when you hit it. A bow, when dealing critical attacks, will have a string of x particles behind it, but it moves like a normal arrow does, so your skills need it to hit the target for a critical attack.
