"I had always seen things a different way. Maybe it was because of experiences or maybe it was the people I am surrounded by, nevertheless I know I can't change, so I embrace it.
I read those words, I lived and breathed them, it was my secret. If any poem could describe my life it was that one. I shut the poem book and lay in bed thinking about the author, thinking about "her". Every night I would dream about Rachel. The way I always chucked glances at her during math. I knew she was way above me but a man can only hope. What did I have to lose? I told myself I would ask her out tomorrow. And that's what I did.
