Escaping (Our little game)

"Come on Midnight we're almost there, just a little more. Please keep going, please." Yui said to me in a tone that was a bit above a whisper. She was right we were almost there. Almost away from this hell hole. From this Experimenting Facility.

I could here the sounds of alarms going off in the background as me and my friends tried to escape. "Come on the guys are waiting for us at the fence. Don't you remember the guys found a way for us to escape. Don't slip away yet." she said almost in tears. I tried to pull myself together. Damn it... I hate it when I do this, it was from all those stupid drugs and poison they would inject into me. They would strap you onto a metal table and inject you with these diffrent colored liquids that would do something to your brain having diffrent side effects each time.

I use to think having powers were fun and different but now I know its a freaking curse. I am whats considered a 'witch' who is known in this universe as 'the evil one' that needs to be destroyed. I find it rather odd though that other mythical creatures roam around freely but a witch and anything or anyone having contact with one has to be killed.

Each witch is born witch a companion in which case mine is Yui. Yui is a neko with dark purple hair that goes down to her hips and two cat ears and a tail to match. She can turn into a cat at anytime and has her own weapon which is a equally as purple whip with tiny spikes all around it.

My other friend, Toby, is a werewolf with dark brown messy hair and big round eyes that are light brown. He is relatively short considering that he is 16, but hey what can i say we are both around the same height. 5'3 to 5'4, but his stupid black dog ears make him taller, but ... He's so darn cute that I can't be mad at him.

My other friend is 17 year old Tyson The Soul Sucker. Yes, he always needs a intro like this when he's being introduced, and like his name implies he eats people souls, but only when he has to and thats very very rare. He has short jet black hair and two twin blade katanas.

My last other friend I failed to introduce is Chase. This 16 year old boy is a fire elemental and a real hot headed flirt. He has bleach blonde hair and a tatoo of a fire insignia on his left arm and has an axe weapon with the same symbol on it. We are able to pull our weapons out magically out of thin air but of course, we can't use any magic or weapons with these stupid anti magic ankle bracelets on our legs.

As we keep running Yui would check behind us every so often making sure the gaurds aren't catching up but also to make sure im doing ok and not slowing us down. I hate feeling so weak, it was all those drugs in me weighing me down. It feels like I have pounds of lead inside of me.
I struggled to stay focus and block out any distractions so we could escape, but I doubted we would get any further than we already have. We had tried escaping three times before and each time we would fail we were thrown into the Punishment Room where we were tortured, each time was longer and more painful than the last.

I had always thought it was odd that Yui was paired up with me, even though we were pretty much like sisters, we were complete opposites. She would always look on the bright side of things, with hope always gleaming in her light-ish purple eyes, while I would always have a pessimistic type of feeling in the back of my head where I can see things ending badly.

As I pulled myself together I could see the glow of three ankle bracelets glowing like crazy up ahead. Wow we might make it...we just might. On the bright side Yui and I were a good distance away from the gaurds who were calling for backup behind us. We managed to lose them somehow but I knew it wouldn't last so we had to move fast. As we came up to the guys we could see how uneasy they were.
