I was full. Wesley had eaten most of my sweet and sour chicken and I ate all of his rice.

"Hey, Wes. I'm going to go catch a shower set up my space for me?" He nodded and I went into his bathroom he had in his room. I'd sleep on a ton of blankets on the floor next to his bed, it was always like that and man was it comfy.

I had a ton of my things here, and he had tons of his things at my house. I have a spare toothbrush in his cabinet, deodorant, some spare clothes  and it's basically the same at my place. Sometimes I'd sleep in a pare of his clothes at my house if mine was in the wash. Finishing my shower, I dressed in the bathroom. I wore my cookie monster shorts, mid-thigh, a black White cami and blue ankle socks. I brushed my hair into a neat pony tale and brushed my teeth.

I walked out, expecting to get comfy on my bundle of blankets but nothing was there. Instead, as soon as I came out Wes stood, already in his PJ's, basketball shorts and a sleeveless shirt-looking a little nervous. "...where's..the..?"  He licked his lips twice, cleared his throat and licked his lips again. "The bed is more comfortable...so I thought...I thought  you  know, you could...you should. I won't do anything, I promise." He said the last part so quickly, I almost missed it. I'd never seen him nervous...or stuttering. We'd never shared  a bed before...and there was no one here but us.  I looked over to the empty place where I was supposed to be sleeping, then back to the bed. I'd always had a problem with  boys, they made me uncomfortable, they  had bad intentions.

But this was my best friend. He wouldn't hurt me, I know he wouldn't.

"Okay..." He let out a breath of relief and smiled. "Right or left side?" I pointed to the left and got in. He was right, the California King sized bed was like sleeping on a newly fluffed cloud. Wes turned off the lamp and there was silence, I could hear both of our breathing in the dark room. "...Lu?" I heard Wes's voice in the darkness. "Hm?" I asked, facing the way to the door my back was to him. "C-can I..." He trailed off, not finishing. There was a ruffling sound of the blankets and then I felt his breath of my neck making me shiver. "Um, can I put my arm around you?" I hesitated a little, but nodded. Of course in the dark he couldn't see me. "Sure." I had to force my voice to sound calm. He moved closer and i felt his knees behind mine, his body curved with mine and his arm rested on my  hip My body stiffened slightly.

"Too low? what's wrong am  I too close?" He sounded panicked. I shook my head, feeling his breath on my neck. "No, no um, your okay." I felt him nod and he got closer, snuggling up closer. I was trying to calm my breathing, I felt his thighs on the back of mine, his palm on the base of my belly. "Luna...breathe."

"I am." He chuckled.

"Lu, my hand isn't moving and it's flat against your stomach. Lift my hand, and relax."I did as he said, surprised at how much of an effort it took.  "Good, that's good.  I want you to trust me, Lu." I let our a forced breath. "I do." I said, glad that he couldn't see my red face. "No...I mean with all of you, keep breathing." He said, noticing my breaths coming shallow. And he continued talking. "You get so nervous, you've always been like that and I don't want you to be tense around me. Lu?"  He asked between his rant. "huh?"

He chuckled again. "Breathe, Luna or I'll have to do mouth to mouth." I stopped breathing all together at the thought of his lips on mine. "Okay, sorry I get it, wrong thing to say. keep breathing, lift my hand Lu." I  began breathing. Again, this was going to be a long, long night.
