Zack's PVO
Monday 7:10 a.m.
Slamming the door behind me I headed towards the yellow shed off to the side of the house. The freshly cut grass suck to the sides of my shoes. Pressing in the lock code I swung open the door grabbing my skateboard and heading back out.
When I got to Sam's house I picked my skateboard off of the pavement starting my way across his large front yard. Just as I could see Sam through the window the sprinklers kicked on full force sending me for a mad dash towards the door. Just as I reached the steps the sprinkler kicked on for the bushes lining the house and sprayed every inch of my right side.
Opening the door with one movement I shrugged my jacket onto the ground beside the door. Kicking off my shoes I looked up to Sam. He was focused on his spoon as he carried the cereal up to his mouth.
I gestured back to the door dragging my hand over my face. "Sprinklers." I explained.
"You can borrow some clothes if you don't feel like going back to your house."
"Yeah thanks I will just do that."
I changed my clothes grabbing some breakfast on our way out the door. Sitting shotgun I blasted the music picking my phone out of my bag.
"Can you call Noah and tell her we are almost at her house?"
Scrolling to her contact I pressed call turning down the radio and putting her on speaker. "Hey we are almost there."
"Yeah I'm almost ready I will be out in a second."
When we pulled up I leaned over Sam slamming my pam down on the horn a few times watching her front door. She walked out holding her hat to her head. The doors unlocked with a click and she pulled the side door open.
"Come on come on we are going to be late." Sam complained.
The door slammed shut behind her and she put her bag down on the floor. I turned the music back up and I felt a hit to the back of my head. I turned.
"Hey! Copilot gets to control the radio!"
"Says who!" Noah turned down the sound and clicked to a different station. "You got it yesterday and I get it today."
The car slowed to a stop pulling over to the side of the road. My window rolled down and Stella stuck her head through. "Took you guys long enough."
Sam rolled his eyes pressing the button to roll back up my window knocking her hands off of it. She backed away her arms raised in surrender as she walked around the front of the car climbing in. Throwing her skateboard onto the seat between Noah and her.
When we finished our drive to school went for one of the last parking spots in the front row. A car horn sounded and we all jumped a little. Some jackass was going for the same space. "Just what we need." Sam inched furthered and he did the same. Leaning over Sam I honked the horn for him drawing some students attentions towards us. Just as I saw Sam about to give up Stella voiced her opinion from the back seat.
"Don't let them win." Sam nodded swinging tight around the car and into the spot. I slight brief catching noise was heard, but that was it. We all opened our doors stepping out the car.
The other car back up and sped away in one movement. "Asshole." Noah muttered as we turned towards school. I swung my arm over her shoulder pulling her into me. "God I love school so much don't you?" I laughed. She lightly pushed away from me laughing "Oh you know I do."
