Matt awoke to a beepin sound above him. He looked up and saw the red blinking seatbelt sign. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and looked at his blonde boy sitting next to him still sleeping. He smiled softly and placed a kiss apon his forehead. He put his seat belt on and reached around Mello’s body and buckled him in too.
“Make sure you stay seated until the plane has landed and we come to a complete stop, Thank you for rideing American Express,” a male’s voice announced through speakers.
Mello twitched once but never really opened his eyes so Matt just let him sleep through the landing because that is Mello’s ishue with planes. Matt sat there in silence and noticed that the girl that was sitting next to him wasn’t asleep either. He looked over at her and touched her shoulder.
“Oh my god, you scared me,” she slightly giggled at him.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I never really got your name and I was wondering what…” Matt started to ask her
“Oh, my name is May,” she smiled interupting Matt.
Matt sat in silence and just looked at the back of his seat the rest of the ride with Mello on his shoulder. A few minutes later the plane landed and it was once again time to wake up Mello. Matt let the girl walk away and then tried to wake up his love.
“Mello-bear the plane landed time to wake up,” Matt said softly.
The blond woke up stretching himself out in the seat as people started to unboard the plane. Matt held out a piece of choclate and Mello bite the chocolate and Matt’s finger. Matt pulled away and his finger started to bleed.
“Awe, damnit,” Matt said lightly.
Matt put a piece of cloth over his finger and a piece of regular scotch tape. Mello looked down at his feet and grabbed his bag and stood up and walked away. Matt tried to catch up but his bag was stuck in the compartment. He pulled it hard once and the strap finnaly let go of a latch that was holding it in place. He turned back quickly but there was no sign of his blond headed lover. He sighed softly and just walked out of the plane as he tried to find him.
“Mello,” Matt called out into the crowd at the flordia airport.
Still no answer Matt got really worried about his choclate loving lover. Matt kept looking everywhere for Mello, his eyes searching for that lovely blond hair. Matt clenched his fist and put his head down. His eyes getting slightly watery, he shook his head ounce trying to shake the feeling. A tear rolled down Matt’s face and hurriedly he put on his goggles to hide his red eyes. He kept looking for his Mello as the goggles made everything have a reddish-orange tint, which didn’t really help him by looking for blond hair, but he knew his chocolate lover from head to toe.
He finally locked his eyes on Mello as the blond ran into the men's bathroom. Matt ran into the bathroom pulling up his goggles seeing there was no one else in the bathroom.
“Mello,” Matt said gently towards the only closed stall in the bathroom.
There was no answer but Matt just knocked on the stall door and it creaked open. He saw his lover just sitting on the lid of the toilet with his face in his hands. Matt reached underneath Mello’s chin and pulled his face up words. Mello’s eyes were red with sorrow and Matt’s were lightly red with sadness. Matt thought he lost Mello for a couple minutes there and Mello thought he hurt Matt so he ran.
