"But Mom,"  I whined. "How did you get him here?" "What do you mean? Who? I have no idea what you are talking about." She teased and I knew that she was teasing. She was using that teasing tone of voice when she spoke. I could always tell my mom's mood because I had mastered the art of 'tones of voices' I guess you could call it. "Ok, Mom, I believe you." I said lying. I knew that this kind of thing could go on forever, they always do. I just went back upstairs to find Sade and Aaron talking. "Oh," I said because I felt like I interrupted their conversation. "Sorry, I didn't mean to-" Aaron cut me off as I was apologizing. "It's fine, dude, don't sweat it. You didn't interrupt us." He said. He called me 'dude'. I hated it when people called me dude. Not only boys, anyone. Even the really hot ones like Aaron. I didn't care who it was, I just hated it when anyone called me dude. I guess you could say it's a pet peeve of mine or something, I really don't know. I was still confused about how Aaron got here and why he can even stand to look at me when I look gross, nasty, and tired. Oh well, at least he's being nice. Anyway, we just stood there and soaked up all of the awkwardness that filled my room. Then, Sade said, "Well, this is awkward." She said, but I believe she only said it to fill the awkwardness. "Ya." I said. "Real awkward." I had no idea what to do, I wasn't really expecting Aaron to be here, I would have took all of these embarrassing posters off of the walls if I would have known. What am I talking about? I love these posters and they aren't embarrassing. Well, it is kind of embarrassing knowing that Aaron is surrounded by posters of himself and his friends, but oh well, at least he knows my background. Sorta. My mom was making dinner and I could smell that it was chicken casserole. Man, how I missed delicious home cooked meals while I was in New Jersey. All Sade and I ate was fast food, McDonald's and greasy things like that. However, we all did go out for a nice meal once, but even nice places's foods are a little bit greasy. My mom has sorta been on a health kick since the winter has started and has been baking all of our food, so that emanates most, if not all of the grease. She says that if you start eating healthy in the winter and exercise a lot in the spring and summer, you will be in great shape. I personally am happy with my body, but apparently, my mom isn't. Oh well, all this talk about food is making me hungry, good thing my mom is making us food. After dinner, Sade, Aaron and I talked about what we did while we were in New Jersey. I think that I was so jet lagged that I fell asleep while we were talking. How rude of me to fall asleep in front of the one and only Aaron Carpenter. I will never forgive myself. Just kidding! I only fell asleep for like half a second. I had you all fooled. Didn't I? Admit it, I had you good. We talked for what felt like hours, maybe because it really was hours. "When are you flying back to New Jersey?" Aaron asked. "Tomorrow." I said sadly. "You sound sad about that. Why?" He asked concerned. "It's just that I don't want to leave my friends and family behind here in Texas. I know that I will make new friends and family in New Jersey, but sometimes I feel like I didn't make the right decision." I explained to them. "You can always come visit. Follow your heart, if it tells you to move, then take a chance and go for it. If it tells you to come back home for a little while, then do it. Take risks, take chances." Sade said to me kind of like a teacher teaching a class. "Teach it, sister!" I teased. I told you, I had my little things that I tease her about too. We all laughed. "It's getting kind of late," My mom began. "Do you guys want to stay over?" She asked my 'guests' I guess you could call them guests. "Sure." They said in unison, then they started to laugh. I joined in and started to laugh too. This time, I think I did fall asleep I could hear everything they were saying, but I couldn't see them. Quite frankly, I was too lazy right now to open my eyes to see them. Then, I fell into a deep sleep.
