Comparison can be evil and can be good. While it fosters competition, competition can be unhealthy. It may put people down, but is also may give a sense of security. No matter, it always seems to turn on or turn off a switch in our brains. Either we are driven to do better because of those around us, or we are driven to give up because we will never be good enough. So, comparison can be used for good or for bad, and it all depends on your perspective. Are you going to let the rain get you wet or are you going to sing in it?
