I haven't given up on this but I think I probably won't finish this sequel.
But basically here's how it would have ended:
Kelly and Trey go through troubles but still end up together and happily married with 2 children after Kelly takes a break from Trey for a couple of years.
Dwayne and Gabby are still together and married although Dwayne had failed to mention his 2 sons and the fact that he is the guardian of his little nephew. Gabby still loves him though and his sons treat her as if she was their own mother.
Chris and Brandy go through loads of drama considering the fact that Chris started messing with Simoné. A couple years later Chris and Brandy come together to work on a collab for Brandy's album. The feelings between the two start to come back and they become engaged a year later.
Lala and Mello are a happy family with their son. Mello is usually busy with his basketball career and that sometimes causes conflict between the couple but they solve the issues in the end.
OH! and Bey and Michelle somehow end up together after realizing that they had a crush on each other from day 1. They had just been confused about their feelings so they just pushed them away. Nelly and Jay were upset but they loved the two girls enough to let them be together.
As for Future, well he and Ciara split up so he is just working on his career. He and Kelly still support each others careers and sometimes talk.
The End.
But yea that was how it was supposed to end. I also have this conflict myself. I like this girl who is a sophomore but Im a freshman and I also like this girl that is also a freshman and i have liked her since 8th grade. But see i suck at flirting and i suck at making conversation with people I barely talk to or see. PLUS the girl who is a freshman SWEARS she's straight but I think otherwise *cue eye roll* but we talk more and see each other more. The girl in 10th grade is a lesbian but we only see each other in the mornings. *sigh* I NEED HELP so leave a comment below if you have advice or personal message me.
