My whole body had gone numb the first time josh had kissed me. I didn't know that he liked me back, but he did and now I'm in love. I grabbed my car keys and drove off to the shopping centre. I had to meet up with Emma, my best friend, and tell her about josh. Of course she already knew that I liked him but she didn't know about our relationship. I found a parking spot and parked. As I was entering the mall I saw someone enter the food court. I ran after her.
"EMMA!" I shouted. She turned around.
"RACHEL!" She shouted equally as loud. We sat down at a table and started talking
"Do you remember josh, the one I liked" I asked
"Yeah"
"We're in a relationship!"
"Really, same I'm in a relationship with Luke". Luke was another very good looking boy. We ended up talking for ten minutes about boys until we saw two people coming around the corner into the food court.
"Follow me Emma" I said urgently. I led her back to my car where we hid from the two girls that had entered. They were Molly and Ella, the bullies off the school. They were constantly bullying Emma and I. I said goodbye to Emma as she sneaked through the cars and back to hers. I drove back to my house, being cautious to make sure the bullies didn't see me leave. When I arrived home I noticed something red hanging off the door handle. As I got closer I noticed it was a rose with a note attached to it. I ran over to the note and opened it.
"Hey Rachel, I tried knocking but you weren't home can you please ring me when your home. From Josh". She opened the door and grabbed her phone.
"Hey Josh what happened"
"Hey Rachel you fancy a road trip"
"But what about school?"
"Are you out off your mind, it's holidays!". Gosh I was so stupid, of course it was holidays.
"Well where are we going?"
"Rachel we are going to cairns". CAIRNS! I've always wanted to go there
"YES" I yelled into the phone
"Okay we'll talk about it later then"
"Alright, bye love you". I hit the hang up button. I was going to cairns. We could go to the Great Barrier Reef. I couldn't wait. I made myself a snack and was starting to eat when I heard a sudden knock on the door. I looked through the window. It was Josh. I opened the door and suddenly I wrapped my arms around his.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned
"We're talking about the road trip"
"Already?"
"The sooner the better". We opened up a map and started planning our road trip.
