October 2015: Avengers Assembled (Closed)

Action! Adventure! Drama! Teamwork, witty one-liners, and snarky remarks!

For our first contest, we will be looking for stories that feature Captain America / Steve Rogers interacting with other Avengers in a non-romantic setting. As you can see from our reading lists, at this point in time they are very much centered on Steve's romantic endeavors. While of course we love this type of writing, we are looking to create a new category for Non-Romance in order to round out our recommendation listings.

What to Write:

Pretty much anything as long as there is little to no romantic theme. We're looking for anything from Steve being subject to shenanigans in Avenger's Tower to Captain America taking down the next major threat to his team and the world!

Things To Consider:

1) Your writing must be your own. Please do not submit any stories that were not created by you, with or without consent.

2) Please be sure to use proper grammar and spelling. This will be a major factor in determining the quality of your writing.

3) Minimum of 500 words. There is no word limit.

4) Your story must have had an update during October 2015.

5) Can include any other Marvel characters whether they be a hero, villain, neither, or both.

6) Please keep the rating consistent with that of the Marvel Movies or Comics. Ideally suitable for all ages.

2) Please also be sure to include #CaptainAmericaFicRec in the tags for your story.

3) You can enter as many stories as you wish.

Deadline & Prizes:

Please submit all entries by October 28, 2015!

Entries will be reviewed on October 29, 2015.

A winner will be announced on October 30, 2015.

The winner of the contest will receive a Vote and Comment on their story from CaptainAmericaFicRec, as well as a shoutout on our conversations page with a link to their story. The winner will also have their story added to our exclusive "Contest Winners" reading list! And we'll also follow them :-)

All suitable entries will also be added to a "Non Romance" (working title) reading list on our profile page.
