KELLINS POV ~
~My eyes roll back, the ceiling fades. I breathe you in, exalt your flames~
"Dude! This party is off the hook!" I hear Justin say as I walk down the hall. Strides of people walk past me as I struggle to get to my friends in the lounge room. The size of this apartment isn't at all big enough to comfortably fit the amount of people we have in this small house.
"Yeah, it's pretty great, I wish there weren't so many fucking people here though" I say across the room to him, he just gives out a laugh and walks over to another group of people. I grab out a durry and a lighter. I click the top of the lighter and flashes of blue, orange and red appear on the top. I move it closer to the tobacco stick and light the tip of it. The pure relief floods over me while I inhale the fumes. The drug relaxes my muscles and slumps me down on the couch. I look around my surroundings, I find myself sitting next to a girl I don't even know. What the hell is she doing here and why was she even invited?
I take some of my time to suss her out. She's wearing a pair of shorts my grandma wouldn't even set foot in, the length on them is ridiculous, I have to look twice to actually notice they're shorts. Her button up shirt is baggy and ridiculously big for her frame. By the looks of her, shes pretty fit and should be wearing clothing that shows that. Maybe her parents are catholic or some shit, and force her to wear shit five times the size.
I take a quick look at her facial features; fucking hot. Her eyes are the colour of hazel, and they're magnifying to look at. Her hair is crossed between a chestnut brown and a beach blonde, making her even more attractive to me. But there's just something about her I don't quite like. She's a bit weird, and certainly doesn't fit in here. Why is she here?
"You don't look like the girl that normally hangs out at parties like this" I yell over the extremely loud music hovering through the house. She jolts her head toward me, probably only just noticing I've been sitting next to her for only minutes. She slightly gives me a confused look. Probably surprised that a person like me is talking to someone like her.
"Excuse me?" She asks, I laugh at her reply. It takes me a while to calm my laughing down. When I look back towards her, still she has a confused look plastered on her face.
"Excuse me!?" I say mocking her voice, more at least trying to anyway. "I'm only joking babe. Why are you here?" She gives me a disgusted look and it takes everything in me not to laugh in her face again. I take my last puff of my cigarettes and accidentally blow it towards her face, her coughs are followed by a huff.
"My friend made me come here, she's over there" she points to the direction that Polly is in. It takes me a while to actually come to the sense that this girl is Polly's friend.
"Polly?" I ask her, she nods in agreement. "Polly Green?" She again nods in agreement. "How in the world, are you Polly's friend"
"Why is that so surprising?" She asks obviously hurt by my words. I usually get that a lot.
"Because" I point towards Polly. She is almost completely naked dancing with a boy I don't even know. Jesus, I need to stop inviting idiots that I don't even know to my hou- my friends house. But then again, they make it so much more fun. "There are girls like her" I direct at Polly. "And girls like her, don't hang with girls like you" I emphasise the 'you' in my sentence.
She instantly is up off her feet with a look on her face, that yet again, is so hard not to laugh at. "What's that supposed to mean!?" She is now yelling and has a offended tone against her voice, her eyebrows are furrowed together and she has her hands on her hips.
"I wouldn't get too nasty, darling. I like a girl with a bit of an attitude" I give her a wink and her offended look has completely shifted to a flabbergasted look. Her mouth hang open and her eyebrows are raised high. I give her a smirk before leaning down to her level. "Cya 'round baby" I whisper in her ear seductively, I then leave the room without another word.
