"Good morning Marcus" mum said as she handed me a slice of burnt toast and banana.
"Thanks. Oh and call me K" I said as i gave her a half half smile taking my toast. "Mum, tomorrow I'm getting my first Pokémon" I looked down at my poke ball shirt and sighed. "Who should I choose?" She looked and me and smiled brightly.
"Bulbasaur has always been my favourite although Squirtle is possibly the cutest thing ever and well Charmander becomes Charizard and then you'd have a dragon. Oh and I heard Professor Oak has a Cyndaquil he got from holiday but they can be a bit dan-"
"Thanks mum. Much appreciated" I finished the toast put on my running boots and went to my part time job at the pokécenter in the middle of town.
"Hey Marcus!" It was Timmy the person who runs the pokéshop.
"Hey Tim, oh by the way call me K from now on." I gave him the same half smile I gave mum.
"Lookin forward to choosing your first Pokémon K?" Nurse joy said in a sarcastic tone. I looked over at her, smiled sarcastically and said "Yes, Nurse Joy"
