Maya's Wish: A Joshaya One Shot

After everybody had walked out Maya removed a photo from her jean pocket. She stared at it for a few seconds, then carefully dropped it into the box. In the photo was Josh and Maya standing next to each other. Every time she saw that photo she smiled cheerfully, remembering his cute smile and dreamy eyes. Maya closed the box and carried outside to her friends.                                                   

Once at Riley's house Maya handed the box to Mr Matthews (Riley's father and their teacher). Maya followed Riley into her bedroom. They sat at the bay window together and Riley asked Maya what she had put into the capsule. "Riley, I told you I don't want anyone to know what I put into the time capsule." Maya replied. Suddenly the girls heard a knock at the front door so they both walked out to the living room and who do they find standing there other than Joshua Matthews!

"Hey family." Josh said walking into his brothers apartment. "My brotha!!!" Corey replied whilst squeezing his brother. "JOSHIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted Auggie, running towards his uncle. Josh outstretched his arms to grab Auggie and placed on his shoulders "I still love it up here." he giggled happily. Once Auggie was safely off his shoulders he went over to say hi to his neice. After Riley had said hi Maya went up to Josh and said "Hey Josh. How you doing?" "I'm good thanks maya, how 'bout you?" Josh asked "I'm fine."

Later on that night Maya woke up in Riley's bed with a seriously dry throat so she walked out into the kitchen. Suddenly she freezed as she heard a noise behind her. She grabbed a random utensil off the counter. Before she could turn around the intruder put their hands over her eyes and mouth. Maya had to do something so she licked his hand. "Ewww," the intruder moaned in a familiar voice "Maya it's me, Josh." "Oh Josh. What are you doing here?" Maya asked inquisitively. "I left my jacket here" he replied, slightly nervously. "Why do you need a leather jacket to sleep?" Maya inquired. "Ummm... I'm going to a party, but nobody can know okay?!" Josh replied. Maya slyly replied "I won't tell anyone unless you take me with you." "Fiiiine." Josh moaned.

Josh led Maya into the party and introduced her to his friends. One of them, Josh's roommate, pulled him aside and whispered " Is she your girlfriend or can I have her?". "Dude she's in middle school!" Josh whispered back "Oh." he replied. Josh could see Maya approaching the bar and grabbed her wrist, pulling her away. "Maya what are you doing. You're fourteen, you can't drink!" Josh said. Maya replied by saying "Neither can half the people here yet they are!" she moaned. Josh left her side, trusting her to stay safe,  to hang out with his friends. About 20 minutes later Josh sees Maya being led by a random guy into a bedroom!

He stormed into the room to see Maya and the guy half naked on the bed. Josh pulled the guy of off Maya, shoved him against the wall and punched him in the head. The man fell to the floor - unconscious. "JOSH!!! What the hell!!!!!" Maya screamed, obviously pissed off with him. "Maya you're fourteen you can't lose your virginity. I'm taking you home!". Before he could leave Maya grabbed Josh and pushed him against the wall. Suddenly their lips touched passionately. They both thoroughly enjoyed it, their tongues exploring each others mouths. Josh pulled away and when he did so Maya pulled his shirt up and over his head. Josh pushed Maya onto the bed as he kissed her neck.

Later on they were both naked, sleeping under the covers.

And that is the story of how Joshua Matthews and Maya Hart lost their virginity.
