While They Were Away

I decided to not write them in one chapter so it won't be confusing.

Jade's POV

I woke up to the sound of Stefan's voice.

"Time to get up Jade, we have some saving to do."

I groaned at him, I wanted to save Damon and Elena but I was also lazy in the morning. For some reason he seemed to be in a good mood.

I threw a pillow at him. But of course, he caught it.

"Come on Jade, wake up, don't make me pull you out of bed."

"Fine. Fine."

I got up and walked to him.

"What seems to have you in a good mood?"
I asked playfully.

"I lied. We don't need to save them."
He smirked at me.

"What do you mean?"

Now I'm wide awake.

"Damon called, they managed to escape last night, now they're on their way far away from here to be safe, while we plan on killing Klaus."

"Oh."
I was so relived.

"How exactly do we kill an original?"

"Get dressed. I'll explain everything downstairs."
Realizing that I was half naked, I turned around and grabbed some clothes.

I walked downstairs and saw Stefan holding out two mugs of tea, I took one and smiled at him.

"Thanks."

He smiled back.

"So you're not worried at all that Elena is somewhere far away with Damon?"

"Not that I recall, why?"

"Oh no reason.."
My voice trailed off and I drank some tea.

"We kill an original by stabbing it with a certain stake, I'm just trying to figure out what certain wood is needed to kill them."

"Oh, Rebekah told me that they had burnt down a certain tree before because it was very harmful them"

"Wait you've talked to Rebekah?"
He asked curiously.

"Yeah, that was before, she and her brother was planning to kill the people I care about."
I followed after him as he walked in the living room, he sat down and sighed, I sat down next to him.

"What's wrong bunny boy?"
I asked, trying to cheer him up.

"I think something happened between Damon and Elena, before..."
His voice sounded sad and motionless.

"What do you mean?"
I asked.

"I think my girlfriend is falling inlove with my brother."

He looked at me with furrowing eyebrows.
I looked into his eyes and said something that I would never say.

"Stefan. Elena loves you, and you know that, she's not gonna dump you just because she maybe is falling inlove with your brother."

He sat there motionless, like he was thinking about something.

A few seconds later, I did something that I never should've done.

I leaned in to his motionless face and kissed him. I regretted it but it was kinda amazing.

I pulled away and saw his shocked face.

"I'm sorry. I- I don't know what came over me."

I put down the mug and stood up.

"I'm just gonna go do something that doesn't involve being in here..."
I talked awkwardly whilst forcing a smile on my face.

I started walking out the living room when suddenly..

"Jade. Wait."

I turned around and there he was, standing infront of me, I backed away a little bit.

"Stefan I-"
Before I could finish my sentence, he did something I don't think he would've ever done in his whole life.

He kissed me.

Of course being stupidly me, I kissed him back.

Before I knew it, my arms was wrapped around his neck and his arms were wrapped around my waist.

It was wrong.

But it felt so right.
