The air was thick, the carpet beneath my feet was staticky, and the person beside me was snoring loudly, knowing he didn't get enough sleep last night. I shifted in my seat and turned  towards the clock as the hour hand strikes 8 and the teacher shuffles the answer sheets on the desk beside her and slams the door shut while locking it. My eyes wandered to the kids sitting in front of me and as their nerves were getting the best of them, I was sitting with ease amusement on my face watching them struggle getting their pencils out shakily.
I knew they weren't ready, these were students who didn't challenge themselves in school and didn't take 'challenging' classes I took for several years.
The teacher looks around the classroom one more time, writes the date on the board and says "begin".
I open the flimsy white booklet as the thin material slides in between my fingers and turn to the 3rd page ignoring the directions. I sat up straight and looked around as kids were chewing their pencils, shifting in their seats, laying their heads on their palms, and trying to sneak glances at the person's answer sheet right beside them.
'Didn't they know, there were different versions'. I rolled my eyes and looked back at my flip book and began.

The 3rd part of the test just ended and I was starving. My stomach was grumbling and my hand was twitching from the lack of energy I had left in my system. My eyes were slightly closed and I had to pinch my self to keep them from closing fully.I wasn't tired thankfully because I had about 2 pink lemonade bangs, but my stomach was empty. It was a habit to not eat anything 10 hours before a test ever since I tried it in 6 grade. People would say I was starving myself since I had a test pretty much every other day, but it was worth it. For the past 11 years, I was proudly to say that I have always achieved an A on all of my test in every subject. My attendance sucked, but that didn't stop me from achieving better grades than my classmates who was envious of my achievement in highschool. Valedictorian of my class, ASB president, and president of the student council. I was practically in charged of the students including the school since my dad was the person in charge of the district. I'm not saying everything was handed to me and I was a spoiled brat, I still had to work hard; it's just, I had some 'benefits'.
The timer began 1 more time and before I knew it the test was over. You could tell everyone was exhausted and when the final answer sheet was collected, the teacher excused us and everyone stood up and rushed out of the classroom. People were pushing each-other trying to get out of the door like animals and as the fresh smell of air hit me, I didn't realize I was holding my breath the entire time. I made sure I grabbed all my things and went straight to my car because I had swim practice in an hour.
As I was driving, I was thinking about the test.
'Did I do good on it'? 'Did I get #27 wrong'? I stopped thinking about it because I knew no matter what I definitely got a 1400 and I wasn't paying attention to the road. Each light felt like 5 minutes and although my house was only 30 minutes away, the traffic was so bad it took me 45 minutes.
After getting dressed, I headed over to the
