Riley's pov
Day 2. I walked with my head town to my locker. But just my luck I bumped into someone.
Meagan.
"O-M-G watch where you're fucking going next time bitch!" her crew chuckled at the remark.
"Sorry" I mumbled.
"Yeah you better be fucking sorry!" She was yelling by now. "Next time this happens I will end you!" She exaggerates a lot as you can tell.
I walk past her and continue to my locker. I didn't really need anything from my locker because we still don't need any books yet, I just hangout there to get away from society.
"Heyy Riley!" I looked back to see Hannah
"Oh, hi!" I responded. I think now is a good time...
"Uh hannah?" I nervously say
"Yeah? Are you okay?" she immediately asks
"Yeah-no. I need to tell you something. It's fairly important. My moms job is transferring her." You can already see the sadness on her face. "and she was transferred to Australia..." I look down as I could tell I probably ruined her day. She shook her head. I don't know if that symbolized disappointment or something else.
"But I won't be moving until 3 weeks from now! We still have a lot we can do in three weeks!" I tried to cheer her up
"Yeah your right." She sighed "I'm gonna miss you a lot Riley." She said frowning.
"And I'll miss you too. Why don't I spend the night tonight?" I suggested
"Yeah, sure" she flashed a little smile.
"Great. Let's go to 1st shall we?!" I chuckled holding out my arm
"We shall." She linked her arm with mine and we playfully skipped to class.

1st period went well. I walked over to chemistry and the desk were rearranged. We now have lab partners. Great! (Note sarcasm) I looked down the list and I'm paired with some guy named Brian. I haven't heard of him but I guess I'll see who he is.
Moments later, a tall boy sat down next to me.
"Riley right?"
"Yeah. Brian?"
"That's me!" He chuckled
"Nice to meet you" I greeted. He didn't seem bad. He was pretty attractive not gonna lie.
"Same" he simply said. He turned around facing the front. He looked like a nice person. I would like to get to know him. But I don't have enough confidence to say something. Oh well I'm moving anyways.

I cross paths with Hannah again in 3rd. After we finish we head to lunch. I saw Brian and he waved. I just waved back. Then suddenly Meagan came stomping my way.
"Just WHAT do you think your doing?!" She sassily yells
"What are you talking about?" I respond. She grabs my hair and pulls me closer to her. "She that kid over there?" She gestured to Brian. "Yea he's mine." She slowly said
"Sorry"
"Yeah, you should be hoe" she continued. her clique just chuckled. She let go of my hair and walked away. And of course Brian saw the whole thing. I just sighed to myself a walked to the usual spot with Hannah.
The rest of lunch was okay. And so was all my other periods. Nothing new happened. I followed Hannah in my car to go to her place. I called my mom to let her know where I'd be.
We arrived and I greeted her mom. I loved her mom! She was always so nice.
"Mom we'll be upstairs. Call us for dinner or anything else if you need us."
"Will do!" Her mom replied.
"Your mom is the cutest thing!" I told Hannah
"Yea i know. that's where I get this from" she pointed to her ass winking. I laughed and she just said "Boys love this!" I laughed harder.
Hannah is my best friend and only friend and this is gonna make me miss her so-o much more.
