"C'mon Tessa, we have to head to the airport or else we'll be late and that will not be a good first impression." My mom said as she grabbed the car keys off the counter.
"Why do we have to adopt an exchange student?" I asked as I got up and grabbed my purse.
"I'm excited, I can't wait to meet him maybe he likes to play sports and we can hang out." My 12 year old brother Kaden said.
"Me too, maybe he'll play Mario Kart with us!" My 8 year old brother Thomas said as he was jumping up and down.
"Get in the car kids, Tessa he's 17 like you and is a senior so treat him nicely. It's his first time in America he's lived in England his whole life." My mom said as we got in the van.
"Yeah Tess, don't be so mean to him like you are to everyone." Kaden said and I glared at him.
"Just don't be so awkward and actually talk to him. His name is Wesley and he's going to attend your school. So be nice." My mom said as we all buckled up and backed out of our driveway and road to the airport.
"Why's he coming to Growsville High?" I asked my mom as we found a parking spot in the packed LAX airport.
"He's here on a soccer scholarship so the school invited him to come and attend your school for the year and see how he likes it." My mom said and I sighed as I got out of the car and held Thomas' hand and we crossed the street.
After 45 minutes of waiting we finally found him and he's really cute! He's not cute he's flipping hot! Like why me?
"Hi I'm Wes, your the Grey's?" Wes asked and my mom nodded.
"This is my 8 year old son Thomas, my 12 year old son Kaden, and my 17 year old daughter Tessa. You'll be going to the school that Tessa's attending." My mom explained.
"How'd you get into Growsville High?" Wes asked me.
"Academic and volleyball scholarship." I said as we got his luggage.
"I got here on a football scholarship." Wes said.
"I thought you got here on a soccer scholarship not a football one." I said.
"Oh I forgot Americans called it soccer." Wes said with his cute accent that was still hot.
"Wesley, how many bags did you bring?" My mom asked.
"I brought 2, there's my 2nd one." Wes said and grabbed it and it was his soccer bag.
I cringed as I saw that and Kaden saw me and Thomas hugged me. I smiled at him and we started walking out of the airport.

"You'll be staying here right next to Kaden and Thomas' room and across from Tessa." My mom said and I went into my room and shut the door.I laid on my bed and got a text from Savannah my best friend:
S: Tess, we're going bowling you should bring the exchange student along.
T: Are the guys on the soccer team going?
S: Yeah, so bring him he's going to be on the team anyway so might as well.
T: Okay, meet you in 10.
S: Alright, see ya there!I got up and walked to the closet to wear something more appropriate then sweatpants and a over sized sweatshirt.
I grabbed some skinny jeans and a floral tank top and a cardigan over it. I slipped on my converse then knocked on Wes' room.
"Hey, what's up?" Wes asked me.
"Hi Wes, I'm going bowling with my volleyball team and the boys soccer team. You wanna come and meet your teammates?" I asked.
"Sure, let's go." Wes said and came out of his room and closed the door.
"Mom, Wes and I are going to the bowling alley with some friends." I yelled.
"Okay!" My mom yelled back and I grabbed my keys and my purse then strolled to the driveway.
"Is Growsville High a nice school?" Wes asked as I unlocked the car doors.
"Yeah, but you have to have a B or above in all of your classes to keep playing a sport." I said as we hopped into the car.
"What are your grades like?" Wes asked me.
"A's and above, yours?" I said as I started the engine and put my seatbelt on.
"A's." Wes stated and I backed out of the driveway. I'm not going to interact with him at all. Like this is the only time I'm actually going to hangout with him.
We entered the bowling alley and I saw Sav and everyone at the bowling shoes area and we walked over there.
"Hey Tess! Who's this?" Sav asked me.
"Everyone this is Wes, he's going to be on the varsity soccer team and he moved here from England." I said and everyone waved.
"Alright shoe size, bro." Mike the goalie on the team asked.
"9's men." Wes said and Mike told the person and he handed it to Wes.
"Where's Karson?" I asked as I got my bowling shoes.
"He's in the bathroom, I still can't believe you two aren't dating Tess." Kira one of my friends said and I smiled.
"I guess, it's because we're so busy with everything and it's senior year." I explained.
"You both are going to UCLA, why not just start dating right now?" Jenny asked me. Jenny's one of my good friends too.
"Karson and I just are focused on graduating and then we can go into all the dating stuff." I said and I felt arms wrap around me and I turned to see Karson.
"Hey Tess, glad you could make it." Karson said.
"Wouldn't miss a little competition, by the way this is Wes he's going to be on the soccer team with you." I said.
"Nice to meet you bro, what position do you play?"
"I play midfield, or any defense I don't really mind anything except forward." Wes said and I mentally high fives myself.
Karson plays forward and if you steal his spot then your high school social life is done.
"Good for you man, let's get those shoes on and hit the alleys." Karson said and we all walked over to the alleys.
