The cold ground seemed to suck them in.
Trapped together, praying they won't be discovered
He shot her a glare.

Don't even think about it.

Her breath vaporized before him, and then her shivering knuckels tightly gripped around a pistol.

I have to.

She says back.

She takes a leap, but strong hands stop her

"Kimber!" Mason whispers harshly,  trying to stop her one last time.

She glares deeply into the puples of his eyes as she , regardless of what he's demanded of her,
She cocked the gun.

What seemed like a sacrifice at the time, was in hindsight, taking a bullet for one, but inevitably it ripping through your flesh and still hitting the one being protected.

Only kimber wasn't shot.

As she was throwing amo wildly and the enforcers, nothing was thrown back to make her dodge.
When she shot them down, new ones kept flooding in.
They were everywhere, but doing nothing slowly walk towards her.

They were closing her in.

I will not call for help.
I will not put Mason in danger.
I will not call for help.

Kimber was frozen.

"Drop your gun!"

One of the enforcers yelled.

Kimber still kept it close in her grip.

" I said drop your gun !" He yelled again.

The enforcer pulled out a rifle

"Now! Or else!" Kimber started to hear the charge of his shooter.

Suddenly mason pushed through the soldiers, ripping from their arms into where kimber stood glued to the ground..

'' you shouldn't have done this, mason, you should've ran -' Kimber's voice cuts.

"Never, now get behind me!"

Mason yells, standing between her and the guards.
No. This is exactly what she didn't want to happen.

First kimber was supposed to stop the enforcers from finding the Rigs headquarters,

But then mason came, to stop her.

Now it was all to late.

Bullets shot out from the enforcer's guns.
Kimber screamed as three pelted Mason in the chest, one ripping through him and hitting the right side of her forehead.

Everything turned to liquid, and kimber began to feel as she was drowning.
