My Only, The Queen of My Heart...

A bright light greets me the moment I open my eyes and it causes me to close them again. I blink a few times to adjust my eyes to the light. I try to remember what happened. Then it hits me.

I close my eyes to stop my tears from coming. I try so hard but I feel my heart shattering.

"Elsa...." My voice cracks as I call her name.

Before I can say anything I'm surprised by a pair of lips meeting mind. I'm too scared to react...

What if its not real?

"Scott..." I hear a familiar voice.

My eyes flip open.

It can't be.

"Scott...I'm here..."

I turn my head slowly to find...

"ELSA!!" I can feel my heart jumping with joy and my first reaction is taking her in my arms and kissing her with everything I've got. She smiles into the kiss as I deepen it and soon I let go and look into those beautiful brown eyes.

"They managed to revive her at the last minute. " my head jerks to the side to find Mitch standing in the doorway. "She screamed your name so loud everyone from across the hall could hear her."

I look to Elsa and she nods in confirmation.

"She stayed by your side ever since. It's clear who has her heart Scott. Crystal clear."

I look to Elsa again to find her smiling at me and I can't help but smile back.

Suddenly footsteps are hear and Kirstie comes in shyly. The shame in her eyes is visible form a mile away.

"Scott...Elsa....I just...I wanted to say I'm sorry. Jealousy got the best of me and...it almost got us killed....I...."

Elsa gets up and hugs Kirstie. I watch her as she runs her fingers though Kirstie's hair. Like a sister comforting her sister.

"It's okay, Kirstie. I forgive you. I see you as my best friend...I always have. I should be sorry really...I took away something that meant the word to you...."

"Which brings me to mention..." Mitch speaks up and we all give him puzzled looks.

"I love Kirstie."

Kirstie looks at Mitch and smiles. "I love Mitch too." She turns back to Elsa. "I know the mistakes I made with Scott and 'm actually glad you have each other. You deserve him. He deserves you. And I hope you two never fall apart."

I get up slowly and hold Elsa from behind with my arms around her waist. Her amazing smiles shows itself and again I can't help but smile too.

"Someone won the queen's heart, Kirstie, and the name is Scott Richard Hoying. Now until the end of my days."

I feel my eyes welling up with tears and I lean in slowly and give her a soft kiss and she kisses back, our lips in perfect sync. My eyes flutter closed and I smile into the kiss.

She's mine. Elsa Marcus is mine.

"I love you, Scott" she whispers.

'I love you so much more, Elsa." I whisper back to the queen.

"Okay uhm...we'll be going and leave you two love birds to it okay?"

Neither of us can break from the kiss so we just wave at Mitch and Kirstie which causes laughter to erupt among them.

I found my other half. My everything. And God knows I'll never let go of her ever again.

I finally pull away slowly and just stare into her eyes.

"You're mine." She says with a smile.

I embrace her in a hug and I close my eyes to soaking the moment.

"And you, my Queen, are my only."
