Chapter 1: A Good Life
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a bright, cloudless morning. Rito walked down the stairs; smiling happily.
His nose automatically perked up, the infatuating smell of bacon and eggs filled the air.He walked into the kitchen to find his sister, Angela, already making breakfast. She looked over and smiled at him.
"Good morning Rito. Did you sleep well?" She asked him. Her hair was put up into a messy bun and she was wearing her apron on top of her band clothing.
"Yes," was his only reply. Rito was of fifteen years of age, with a mop of white hair, blue eyes, small rounded glasses were perched mid point of his nose. He constantly had his phone on him and loved nothing more than to be at home listening to his music.
Angela smiled at him as she went back to finishing their breakfast.
"Any ideas on how you'd like to spend your birthday? I've been planning for weeks now." Angela cared about her brother, and she never missed his birthday. Rito just smiled sitting at the table.
"Anything's okay, I know whatever I say about it, you'll make it even more amazing than planned." Angela slid him a plate loaded with food with a smile.
"Mhm. It's my job as your big sis!" She ruffled his hair and walked off with her plate as Rito ate his breakfast.
Little did he know that today, everything he ever knew...would change....
