Summer Eclipse

I hear a loud knock on my door and I know it will never stop until I respond. "What?" I yelled. My eyes are still close, but I could feel the blazing fire from my fireplace. The fire is trying to wake me up too.
"Princess, you need to get ready for school." A familiar voice said. It must be Odessa. I try to open my eyes and that's when it hits me. School.
"Why do Royals have to go to school?" I said in a whiny voice, "Come in Odessa." She quickly opens my door and runs to the window to open the curtains. She was so fast I didn't have time to cover my eyes.
"Why do you always do that?" I yelled, hiding under my sheets. "I'm the 'Four Element' Cades who happened to be a Royal and is destined to be a goddess. School shouldn't even be one of my worries." I'm the biggest whiner.
"So you keep telling me, Summer Eclipse." She says in an annoying tone and pulls off my sheets. Leaving me uncovered. Odessa drops her jaws and looks at me with excitement. "How could I foget to tell you, Ace is back in school today!" She says.
"That can't be possible." I say with my eyes wide open. That can't be possible. I made sure he was dead last time I saw him.

"You're late Summer, keep this up and you'll have a detention." Says Master Amber, our history teacher. She's a fire element goddess and her beauty is majestic. She has a floor-length, wavy, fiery red hair. Her eyes are amber color and her skin is the color of caramel cream.
"I'm sorry." I say as I take my seat. Detention? But I'm a Royal.
In Celestia, there are the Cades, the Royal Cades, and the gods and goddesses of elements. There are four kingdoms in Celestia: Inferno, Mistical, Avira, and Atlantis. Flame Cades live in Inferno, Earth Cades live in Mistical, Wind Cades live in Avira, and Aqua Cades live in Atlantis. I'm from Mistical kingdom. The only sibling I have is Ace and I barely see him because he's one of the Element Knights. He guards the Northern Portal. It's a portal that the Cades use to travel to the human world. We keep balance in the human world. The knights guard the Portal to make so that no human enters our world, not like it ever happened in the history of Celestia. The gods and goddesses just want to make sure the humans stay in their world. Let's just say that majority of the humans don't realize they're killing their planet. And the gods and goddesses don't want that evil in our beautiful world.
Master Amber dismisses our class and I find the Royals waiting for me outside my classroom.
"How is it possible?" Asks Avery, pulling me inside a quiet barrier to keep our conversation private.
          "I don't know." I reply.
"We combined the Four Royal Elements and we saw Ace turn into ashes." Says Auburn, with her worried face.
"Guys, he's not an enemy." Lance suggests. Of course he would defend his best friend.
"He's not an enemy now, but in the future he will be. Are you doubting my vision?" I say to Lance. Since I'm the future Four Elements goddess, I have visions of the future danger. I really wish I didn't have the ability to see how ugly the future will be.
Auburn stops the soon to be a fight between Lance and I, "No one is doubting you Sum, but don't forget that your own brother agreed for us to kill him for the own good of Celestia." She says.
"I say we go up to him and ask him how he's alive. It's really that simple." Avery suggests.
Lance and Auburn look at each other and nod. Lance takes my hand and leads us to where he last saw Ace, which was in the garden. I can feel Avery watching Lance's every move. It's been three months since he ended our two years relationship. He said he found someone else, but his jealousy over Lance is beyond obvious.
