Ahsoka I: When everything changed

'Take off your helmets.' Darth Vader said again. Azreal did what he asked, but I couldn't. I froze. I had never frozen in my life. I felt like and emotional rollercoaster again. Darth Vader pulled the helmet of my head. He didn't have facial expressions, but I knew he was surprised. 'Ahsoka?' he said. I look at him in disgust. However not completely, seeing my former master like this made me sad, and angry. 'I never wanted to disappoint you like this.' Darth Vader said to my surprise. 'I did it to save Padmé, but she died  anyway and there was no going back for me.'

I couldn't control my emotions. 'There is a way.' I said. 'What? How?' Darth Vader said surprised. 'You have to kill the Emperor.'
'I can't, he's too strong for me alone.' he said. 'We can take him down together, the three of us.'
'Three?' Darth Vader said. 'Azreal is my padawan.'
'Oh. A padawan with a padawan?'
'We must do it now.' I said, ignoring him. 'Right now.'
'Maybe we should make a plan first Ahsoka.' Azreal said. 'You're right, I'm sorry my emotions are so strong that I'm not thinking clearly anymore.' I said. 'First of all I would like to know why you're wearing that awful black suit.' I said to Darth Vader. 'It's Obi-Wan's fault. If the Emperor hadn't saved me I would've been dead. Obi-Wan would've killed me.'
'He's still alive?' I asked surprised. 'Yes.'

This was very good news. Obi-Wan was alive and Darth Vader might be good again. Even though I knew I couldn't trust him yet. After all trust takes years to build and only seconds to break.

'We have to do a surprise attack.' Azreal said. Darth Vader should distract the Emperor so Ahsoka and I can attack him from behind. He'll probably sense us and turn around to fight us. That's when Darth Vader can strike him down.' Azreal said. 'Good plan.'
