Death the Kid x Reader Oneshot

You're at your house with your best friend and meister, Joel, as well as Maka, Soul, Death the Kid, Liz and Pattie, Tsubaki, and BlackStar when someone had the grand idea to play truth or dare. "So," Maka began, "y/n, truth or dare?" "Uhh, truth?" You answer. Soul snickers, "You're in for it now. Maka asks the most in depth questions it's like a psychic reading or something." You roll your eyes. "Sure, Soul."
Maka turns her head towards you. "Who's your crush?" You blush slightly, considering he was sitting no less than 4 feet away.
"Do I have to answer?" You mumble. "Only if you don't want to seem like a scaredy cat!" Soul says with a chuckle. Everyone started laughing.
"Alright. Alright! OK. Everybody quiet. My crush is..." You hesitate. "I have a crush on Death the Kid."
Maka and BlackStar gasped. Tsubaki and Maka jumped up "WE KNEW IT!" They shout in unison. Soul was cracking up and Joel was giggling to herself. While Kid sat there shocked.
By the time the noise died down Kid still hadn't said anything. It was silent and everyone was staring at Kid. "Y-you really like me?" Hey said lamely and more to himself than anyone else.
"I'd like to speak to you in the hall. Alone." He said standing up. "O-ok..." You stand up and follow him out the door.
"You didn't have to say that, you know." Kid says once you're alone. "Say what?" You ask, clearly confused. "That you liked me. I know you have a thing for Soul." He said.
You turn and face his bright amber eyes, your h/l, h/c hair whipping behind your f/c t-shirt. "I most certainly do not like Soul!" You say. "Well, I like him as a friend, sure, but he and Maka are so dating." You say.
He looks up at you a bit, a small smile curling the tips of his perfect lips. "So, you really do like me?" He murmurs.
"Yes, Kid. I do like you. I like you quite a lot actually." You say softly. "Well," He said as he took a step closer to you, so when he breathed, you could feel it. "I like you a lot too, y/n..."
He takes his hand and runs it down the side of your cheek. "Perfectly symmetrical..." He breathed. You press your face against his hand.
"Meet me at my house at 8, ok?" He asked. You nodded. "Eight it is, then." You agree.
The rest of the night passed quite uneventfully. Truth or dare soon got boring (but not before Soul got dared to kiss Maka on the cheek and he actually did it) and it was getting late.
Maka and Soul left first and Tsubaki and BlackStar left soon after. Liz, Patty, and Kid were the only ones left and they were getting ready to go anyway. (You and Joel live together).
Kid stood up and they all said their goodbyes. "Don't forget," He said, "8 o'clock, be there." "I will." You promised.
It was 7:45 and it took about 10 minutes to get to Kid's house. Ok so I should be able to get there in time, you thought to yourself as you brushed your hair out for the 3rd time, but I don't know how Kid will react if I'm early. Oh well. I guess I'll just wait til exactly 8 to knock if I get there early. You conclude.
*Time Skip to Death the Kids House*
7:59 exactly. You take a deep breath and walk up to Kid's door. You knock 3 times and wait. You hear footsteps, then the door knob turning, and your breath catches in your throat when you see Kid standing there shirtless with a towel draped over his shoulders.
You turn scarlet and Kid blushes a little because of this too.
"I hope this isn't bothering you too badly." He says as he walks in. He grabs a black t-shirt off the table, places the towel on the table, and pulls on his shirt. "No, no, you're fine. I don't mind." You say as you look around his perfectly symmetrical home.
"You look nice." Kid says. "Thanks, you too." You hadn't dressed fancy but you had dressed nice. In a simple f/c t-shirt and jeans as well as a f/c jacket.
"So, why did you ask me here?" You ask him. "Because, you're smart and pretty and symmetrical an-" "How do you know I'm symmetrical?" You interrupt him.
He smiles. "How did I know you were going to say that?" He asked. "You didn't answer my question..." You say. "No it appears I didn't." He smirks. "Well?" You ask. "I don't know for sure but..." He stops himself abruptly. "What, Kid?" You ask. "N-n-nothing. He stammered. "Ok." You say softly.
"Hey, Kid?" You ask. "Yes?" "W-w-were you going to- to-" "Ask to sleep with you?" He interrupted. "Yes." He grumbled. He came and sat down next to you.
He reached out and took your hand in his. "Why didn't you?" You ask him. "Because I don't want you to lose your virginity at y/a. And even worse, to a grim reaper. And plus, I don't own any protection... Oh, and also, I was scared of being turned down." He admits. "Just so you know," You begin softly, "I wouldn't have turned you down..." "You're just saying that to make me feel better." He grumbles. "If you think that you're wrong." You growl. "I know, I just wanted to be stubborn for a moment." You stare at each other for a moment then burst out laughing.
"Hey, y/n?" He asks. "Yes?" You reply. "I want to show you something. Come on." He stands up and quietly walks towards the back door. "Oh-kay?" You stand and follow him out the door.
"What?" You ask as you get outside. You stop and stare up at the sky. The night is illuminated with the Stars and the moon. Kids pale skin is bathed in moonlight making him more beautiful than ever. The 3 stripes in his hair are almost glowing in the beautiful light. His bright, amber eyes shine so brightly they almost outshine the stars. You take a step forward. "Kid..." You breathe. "It's beautiful." "Well, so are you." He steps towards you and wraps his arms around you. You press your chest against his and he leans down and kisses you.
The second his perfect lips touch yours electricity seems to burn between you both. You can feel it. His lips are warm and lay perfectly against yours. Such symmetry. You think.
After a while you break apart and instead of letting go, Kid just holds you there. He holds you there for a long time. And you don't care. All that matters is you and Kid. "Thank you. For everything you've done for me today." Kid whispers, still holding you. "You're welcome, Kid."
"Hey, Kid?" You ask. "Yeah, y/n?" "I love you." "I love you too, y/n." He replies.
