"Mom, before I have to go to that stupid camp, can I get a manicure?"
I shouted, while looking at my discusting fingernails.
"Sure, I need to run by Jc Pennys anyway."
Mom shouted back to me.
Thank God. I thought, rolling my eyes.
I'm a 14 year old girl, and I love to get in trouble a lot. For my punishment, Mom's sending me to a camp. That camp better allow crop tops, because those are mainly the only shirts I wear. I also love sandals, and bracelets.
I walked around my room to make sure it was clean, to my surprise, it was. I was already packed and ready for camp, I just don't want to go.
I walked to my Mom's room where she was getting ready.
"Hurry up, I'm ready to go." I said.
"Be patient, or we're not going."
Ugh, parents.
I walked out of Moms room and went to the kitchen, I opened the fridge.
We have no food.
Yeah we do, idiot.
Well, I don't like any of this crap. You have to cook all of it.
Except for the leftovers, but those are gross.
I closed the fridge and walked over to the pantry. What does Mom expect, me to cook soup? Yeah. I don't think so.
I slammed the door closed and grabbed a bag of barbecue chips.
Like this'll fill me up.
I walked to the living room and flipped on the television. Right when I sat down, and got settled, Mom walked in and said,
"Ready, let's go."
Are you kidding me?
I got up and went to my room, I grabbed my phone and went outside. I still had my chips in my hand. I went in the car, not bothering to buckle, and opened my bad of chips.
"Do you have to eat in the car?"
Mom asked while I was half way done with the bag.
"Well, someone wouldn't give me enough time to eat them."
"You're the one that was being impatient, so I don't want to hear it."
I rolled my eyes and continued eating my chips.
We arrived at Jc Penny's and I waited in the car.
My phone vibrated. I picked it up and saw that I got a message from my boyfriend, Tyler.
Tyler: Hey babe, r u free tom night?
Alex {Me}: No. Remember? I'm going to that stupid camp.
Tyler: Oh yeah, I forgot. Srry, I wish u didn't have 2 go.
Alex: Neither do I.
Tyler: I have 2 go now, srry babe. Luv u.
Alex: Love you too, bye.
I saw my Mom coming back, so I unlocked the door for her. She put he clothes in the back and got in the car.
We pulled in at the Salon and I got out of the car.
We arrive back home and I went up to my room. I got another text from Tyler.
Tyler: Bck.
Alex: Oh, welcome back.
Tyler: Ty babe. I'll be at ur house in a sec, I got some drinks.
Alex: Okay, but I don't want anything to drink..I'm not thirsty.
Tyler: But it's a new kind of beer!
Alex: You know I hate beer.
Tyler: I no, but please try some.
Alex: No.
Tyler: Fine.
Alex: Thank you.
Tyler: Yw.
Alex: I'm going to go to bed now, night.
Tyler: Night babe, luv u.
Alex: Love you too.
