Ezra

To be honest living in a house with someone you thought your whole life was the enemy is a little awkward. Aaron, Ro's dad is probably the single most intimidating creature i have ever met. He insists that i find a way to make the rest of the vampires think i'm dead. That won't exactly be easy. 

"Ezie dinners ready!" Clara calls interupting my thoughts.

I move myself from the couch to the kitchen smelling......stir fry? 

I sit down next to Aaron and Ro, who immediately grabs my hand.

"So Ezra" Aaron says cautiously

"I've talked to Rowan and we seem to have come up with a way to make the vampires think you're dead. But it won't be easy"

"Uh..ok" i say

"You have to go back to base-"

"Whoa wait" I say interrupting him " I can't go back i'm banished remember! They could kill me!"

"Fine" says Aaron 

"Then we'll have you write a letter to the group saying that you and Mason-"

"Mason is dead." I say interrupting again 

"I know." Aaron says through gritted teeth. "Maybe if you'd let me talk then this wouldn't be an issue."

"Oh sorry" i say my face turing red and my eyes cast downward.

"Anyways" Aaron says "You'll write a letter to the group saying that Mason and you are staying in the abandoned cabin to the north. You ask for forgiveness and a way to get back into the group. Mason is staying with you because he doesn't want to leave his friend behind. You'll then burn down the house leaving two dead bodies, one being Mason. They will hopefully think that you burned to death in the house.

"Who will the other body be?" I ask disgusted

"That can be arranged" says Aaron

It's dusk and i sit in the hammock with Ro as we watch the sun go down. She's snuggled into my shoulder and my arm is wrapped around her back. I should be happy but i'm not. Some people back at the hotel are my really good friends and i don't want them to think i'm dead. But is it all worth it to be with Rowan? And what if they don't buy the act? What if they find out i'm still alive? I could be putting Rowan and her family at risk. They've been so kind letting me live with them i can't put them in danger. 

"Ezra you look concerned" 

"What?"

"Rowan looks up at me with her big beautiful eyes."

"I said you look concerned, are you ok?"

"I don't know." i say

"I know my dad can be intimidating and it's not exactly easy to live in a house full of rowdy werewolves but i promise everything will be ok." 

I felt a strange sense of calmness and i believed that that promise would be kept.

"I love you" I say

She smiles and looks deep into my eyes. 

"I love you too"

 I wake up looking at a moon lit sky. Rowan is next to me on the hammock breathing heavily, deep in sleep. I lean back in the hammock and relax for the first time in a long time. Then i sink back into the abyss of sleep.

"Ezra......Ezra wake up......we're gonna be late common."

"Mason go away i need sleep."

"You idiot if we're late one more time Jeremiah's gonna kill us and today's really important. Jeremiah's gonna tell us about the attack plan, remember."

"Ugh fine"

"Ezra, Mason so happy that you could finally join us" said Jeremiah.

We take our seats along with the other vampires.

"Anyways, after months of planning i've finally come up with a way to destroy the werewolves for good. On August, 2nd in about a month we set their little town ablaze."

Ezra.......Ezra wake up!

"Mason?" i yell in confusion 

"No it's me, Rowan, Calm Down!"

I look at her grasping her for support. 

"I remember...that day it happened...i remember!

"Ezra what are you talking about?!"

"Rowan what's the date?"

"I think it's August 2nd, I'm not sure."

And just like that the house becomes a blaze of red fire!
