DETERMINATION

When stupidly I saw the book,
The alphabets of magazine named cook,
I didn't understand even a dot,
Which hurt me quite a lot.

Simply I thought at that time,
Why illiteracy is not a crime.

Oh! God give me a chance to learn,
Which will make my life adorn,
Even though I'm 62 years old,
But for learning I'm still bold.

Actually problem was not with my age,
But determination was, at that stage,
So I determined to learn any how,
And bravely I'll face if struggle comes now.

So, I started to read and write,
And worked hard, mugged and recite,
As a result soon I learnt to read,
Which changed my feelings to breath.

I felt independent, even I was alone,
Because now I could read of my own,
To learn there is no bar of age,
Even you can learn in your ending days.

Independence is most important for human,
It's not easy to get except determined person,
Simply I understood at the final time,
Why illiterates commits a lot of crime.
