Okay today is the day. Andrea, my best friend, and I are finally going to Australia to finish off our last year of high school. We both received a scholarship to study abroad. Our parents decided that it would be a great opportunity, considering we wanted to go to the University of Sydney for college. So here we are a month before school starts up again heading to Australia. Andreas parents are coming with us, while my parents won't be able to move over here until later in the month. We are both all prepared. We've bought house and are registered for the upcoming new year. Now all we need is to actually arrive there!

"I'm so excited! I can't believe this is actually happening!" Andrea said while jumping up and down.

"Me neither! I can't wait to get there!"

"Next flight to Sydney now boarding," we both hear and start squealing.

"This is it. The first day of the rest of our lives," I say as I grab Andreas hand and start walking towards the plane.

When we found our seats on the plane, Andrea had the window seat, and I had the middle. I was really hoping no one would sit next to me just so we can have the little row to our selves.

My hopes were crushed when a blonde boy about our age with fringe all in his face sat down next to me. He wasn't hot, but he was cute. Kind of like a kitten.

"Hi, I'm Michael," the boy said looking towards me and Andrea. I noticed he had an Australian accent. He was probably in America on vacation or something.

"Hannah and this is my friend Andrea. Are you from Australia?"

"Yeah, Sydney. Are you taking a holiday?"

Andrea finally spoke up saying, "No, we're actually moving out there to go to school for our last year and then hopefully go to the university of Sydney."

"That's awesome! I'm in year 12 too!"

The conversation sorta died down after that but I could see Andrea continuing to glance at him. It was obvious, well at least to me, that she thought he was cute. So me being the great friend I am asked to switch with her.

"Hey, Andy, will you switch with me? I really want to look out the window," I asked giving my best pouty face. She just gave me a look knowing what I was doing, but moved anyway.

Once we switched I put my head phones in so she if she wanted to talk she was forced to talk to him. They said nothing for a while, and I was starting to dose off. But right before I fell asleep I noticed the conversation starting between them.
