Hi, my name is Chloe. I'm a typical girl I guess who works hard. I'm 18, just turned. People say that I'm here to bring happiness to others but I say that maybe I need others to make me happy. I was bullied for four years in my middle school. I guess it was quite severe. I had no friends, my parents used to say that I didn't need friends but I really did. I was lonely, too lonely. I would eat my lunch in the toilets, if I could be bothered. I would sit and cry my eyes out. But then I would be like, why am I getting so worked up its just some people. But then I would be thrown back into the real world and be reminded that it wasn't just a few people that it was my whole year. I never fitted in, it's probably because I loved to work hard and be myself and that is why they disliked me.
Anyway that was then, this is now. I love being myself as I know that people won't judge me anymore. I have four best friends who I love very much, they are: Megan, Dani, Emily, and Jess. I've gotten to know them very well over the past four years.
Tonight is my sister's party. I don't really want to go but I kind of have to.  I facetime dressed in my sleeveless black dress that falls just above the knee. I put some makeup on, not too much but enough to hide my imperfections. Lacing up my black heels there's a knock at the door.
"Hi, you ready?" my, sister, nicola asks.
"Yea, just let me get my bag," I say grabbing my clutch.
I walk down the stairs from my porch and down my driveway, opening the door of the black Audi R8 I realise that I'm kinda nervous of meeting my sister's friends. Oh well I guess it'll be fun, maybe.

"We are going to have fun tonight baby sis," Nicola says way to excitedly, "My friends are really nice. and I have some cute guy friends around your age, wink, wink."

"One I don't know how to have "fun" at a party when you nobody, and two I'm not looking for a boyfriend," I say kinda rudely but not intentionally, "Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude."

"its okay baby sis."

"please don't call me baby sis, it makes me sound like I'm three," I whine and she starts laughing.

~10 minutes later~

"We're here Chloe," my sister says clapping her hands excitedly.

"Okay and thank you for not calling me baby sis," I say dragging out baby sis.

Stepping out the car I realise this is a pretty nice place. The decorations are really nice, some white and black balloons here and there that say 'happy 23rd birthday' on them. There's a massive black banner, with white writing on it, above the front door that says 'happy birthday Chloe and Nicola.'

"Surprise baby sis, I don't care that you don't like it im still calling you baby sis I wont in front of my friends though," Nicola says jumping up and down.

"Thank you, but why?" I ask confused as to why its my party as well.

"Because, you didn't get a big party and eighteen is a big milestone in your life. So have fun and enjoy your first party as an adult," She says really happily, it might as well be her first party.

Walking into the club, the heat and noise hit me like a ton of bricks. The smell of party food is delicious but then you walk further into the club and the stench of alcohol hits your nostrils and it stinks. I follow my sister towards a big group of people, I guess this is "her" group. I walk over shyly as I never know what to do in these sought of situations.

"Hi guys," Nicola greets her friends.

"Happy Birthday," they all sing in chorus.

"guys this is Chloe my little sister," Nicola introduces me to them.

"I'm not that little as I'm 18, Nicola," I defend myself.

"Okay, okay. Anyway, this is Zayn, Liam, Harry, Louis and this is Niall," my sister introduces me to all of her little group.
