The Chosen One

Chapter One

A/N One word you need to know:
fledgling: a vampire who is not completely a vampire.

You know how humans wonder how it is to be a vampire.

Well, I've always wondered how it is to be human.

You see I was born as a vampire. The very first vampire who wasn't born as a human.

I have to keep the secret I'm a vampire and drink blood (Ew?).

But I'm still a fledgling. (Sighs*)

     As I walk to Jay's (the leader of our clan) house, I see the others. We all grow our wings and fly to his house like it was a race. I was first there.  Whoop-de-do! Note the sarcasm?

        "So as you guys know, Fates have escaped their dreaded demon world. We must stop them before the do any destruction or begin sucking human blood everyday and kill the human population and the entire vampire kind." Jay said.

        I raise my hand to speak and Jay passes me the fledgling talking stick.

       "Okay. I have two questions. Number One: What are Fates? And Number Two: Can we hunt?"

       "Fates are demons who escaped from their prison homes. And yes we can hunt."

       I super speed trying to find a Fate. They look like vampires but you can tell the difference between vampires and Fates.

      "Hey, you, I know you're a Fate." I say.

      "Oh, pitiful fledgling! What are you gonna do? Tell your ex-boyfriend? Hahahaha. Well guess what? You ex doesn't care for you. Because you're just a little fledgling. Fate number twenty-one you shall become." The Fate said.

       I saw what she was trying to do. She was making me feel upset and then she would bit my neck and turn me into a Fate without my clan even knowing.

      I super speed to her and bite her. She turns into... Jessica!

     "JESS!" I scream using the cute nickname I gave to her.

     "IZZY!" She screams using the cute nickname she gave to me.

     I pull out my fledgling walkie talkie and tell Jay that I defeated a Fate. He super speeds here and hands Jess a fledgling walkie talkie. She had to start at the bottom. And he took my fledgling walkie talkie (that allowed me to talk to Jay and my vampire protector), giving me a vampire walkie talkie, which allows you talk to anyone.

      I know how stereotypical humans are. Like in Vampire Diaries. They say we fly everywhere! That is like humans running everywhere, draining the energy that they just received! And they say that vampires only drink human blood. We can drink animal blood but it is half the energy we get from human!

I want to get all the Fates but there are just so many (there are now nineteen). I'm gonna go to sleep because all vampires have to go to school to fit in. Whatever fitting in is.

       I go to my bus stop where everyone on Oak and Pine Street have to go. It's me, Jess, and the pops.
