Waking up to a cold bare head for the first time. Things are different, I'm different everyday. Seeing a small amount of my used to be hair next to my pillow. It must've fallen out while I slept. Oh well I don't care anymore. Groggily getting up I slip on some shoes and brush my teeth. Looking down at the sunburn green tan on my finger, yet I'll always love the design.
As I head to school with my mom out of sight I take the little sandwich bag filled with white tablets of hope, and I throw it away. Pulling my jacket closer to me and picking up my pace due to the fact of Ashley, a girl who doesn't understand feelings. I hear clicking of heels and I hear her voice say "hows it going baldy". "Wow I never new someone could be so ugly bald". I ignore it it's not my fault. During my class, just to make my day worse I picked the last of the studs off of my belt.
When I get home my mom is sitting there waiting for me a the table which is rare. "We need to talk Skyler" my mom says. I sit down wondering whats the problem. My mom stares at me looking like she's about to break down any second. "Ashley said she saw you throw away your medicine" She says. I furrow my eyebrows, if I don't wanna take it I shouldn't have to I thought. I don't care about my life anymore. " yeah, so I shouldn't have to take it" I said. " Doctor Hammonds said if you don't keep the drugs flowing it will spread and you could die" she says.
"Okay" I said. I grabbed my backpack and headed upstairs. My mom needs to understand It's just not worth it.
