I wake up, and see a man in black shirt and jeans on, he walks over to me and pulls my IV cord out. I don't feel any pain, and I drift back to sleep.
I wake up screaming with a stabbing pain in my arm. I wonder if it's from the man that came in my room last night. The doctors rush in to see my IV cord pulled out, Doctor Luke stabs it back in my arm. "Why did you pull your IV cord out Delaney?!?" "I didn't some man in black came in my room and pulled it out!" Doctor Luke walks out and starts talking to my mom in the hallway and says "She is probably hallucinating it all Mrs. Maxwell, the question is why would she pull her own IV cord out???" "I don' t know, but you're a doctor and you need to do your job and keep her alive, you're supposed to be trying to help her heal, and all you're doing is letting her hurt herself! DO YOUR JOB DR.LUKE!!!" My mom walks in and asks me questions about last night. I tell her what I remembered and he has a look on her face that says "Come on Delaney, be real here, who would pull your IV cord out at night, who would even pull it out at all?" I scream at her "I'M NOT LYING!!! WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE ME, AND HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE!!!" "Delaney, I don't need to be there to know what happened, there are security cameras, and if I have to I will ask to see them if it means you will quit this nonsense." "I'm not lying, and if you don't believe me then suit your self, go look at the cameras if that is the proof you need!" My mom walks out to speak to Dr. Luke. My mom comes back in the room and shows me the footage and it shows nobody, but it also show that I didn't pull my IV cord out. Nobody understands what happened but we all just forget about it.
My dad starts talking got Dr. Luke about when I can go home, because we can't afford the bills. Dr. Luke says it will be awhile before I get to go home because I'm still not able to get around without my wheel chair. "Other people go around in a wheel chair why can't she?" My dad asks. "She can it's just we think it's better she stays a little longer, it will make her stronger to rest more." "Ok, so we will take her home and she can rest there." "I don't think thats a good idea but ok." "What medicines do we need to take home for her to take?" "Meet me in the front and I will give them to you." "Ok."
I get into the wheel chair and my mom pulls me into the front where my dad stands talking to Dr. Luke and getting my medicine. My dad rushes us to the car and we drive home where Tara, Carson, and Decker welcome me home. I go to my room with them and we play games. I get tired and I ask Decker, Tara, and Carson if we can hang out later. We all agree to meet up at the library later to study for the 9 weeks test at school. I say my goodbyes and they leave.
