Hold Your Breath

I stare out the window as we pass the Welcome to South Carolina sign. My mom turns around and pats my leg and says with the biggest smile on her face "I'm sure you'll like it here Mia. A fresh new start for us". I turn to face her and smile back. She turns back around and turns up the radio singing along to the song. I turn my head back to the window and just drift to sleep.

I wake up to my mom yelling at my dad to watch-out. I look through the front window seeing something standing in the middle of the road.

My dad swerves to avoid what looked like a man standing in the middle of the bridge. We plunge of the bridge and into the freezing cold water. I hit my head on the window from impact. I see the water turning red a little and know I cut my head. I look at my parents motionless bodies and try to unbuckle my seat belt but it won't budge. I look and see my mom looking at me. She grabs my hand and mouths "I Love you" then lets go.

"In that moment I knew my life was going to change" I think to myself. I start to feel the water rush down my lungs and then everything goes black.

Hunter's Prov

"Well that was a fun and eventful day, huh Alpha. " says Carter as he nudges me.

I look at him very serious and say, "You can walk home if you keep this up".

"I was just joking, man you need more fun in your life" says Carter. His phone rings and he answers it. I just look at him then back to the road. Carter laughs then looks back at the road.

"You know what you need" he asks me as he hangs up his phone. I look at him and sigh and he just laugh's.

Then he slam on the brakes as we see a car swerve of the bridge. I jump out of the car and run to the side of the bridge.

I look over the edge and see the car completely submerged. I jump off the bridge and into the freezing cold water. I swim to the car and see three people in the vehicle. The woman see's me and points to the back seat. I swim to the door and rip it off the hinges and pull apart the seat belt. I grab the her and swim to the surface.

Carter jumped in and swam to me and said "Is there any one else". I looked at him and shook my head. He looked at the girl and dived under the water.

I swam to shore and laid the girl down. My wolf whined "Mate". I opened her mouth and put mine to hers. Breathing into her mouth and pushed onto her chest. She coughed up water then looked at me and then went unconscious.

Carter swam to shore "Is she alive". I looked at him and picked her up "Call the pack doctor and tell him to be ready for us when we arrive". Carter runs back to the jeep. I look back down at the most be beautiful girl in my arms and head to the jeep.
