Mai's P.O.V

I was in utter shock. That name, his name, that was my missing piece. I knew that I recognized those eyes.

It had to be. But I couldn't be to sure about it. I had to stay calm. Jason might just look the same as the boy I kinda remember from all those years ago.

At the moment this didn't really matter much but it was going to bother me until I found out who he really was.

I continued to walk. The day was almost over. And all of this would be put on pause.

-------------------------------

For the rest of the week I didn't see Jason once. I figured that if he was the boy that he would continue to come see me. But I guess I was wrong.

I pulled out the note from my binder. I had read over it so many times I could probably quote it word for word.

"What's that?"

It was Jason. He wasn't in my biology class.

"Nothing that concerns you." I tucked the note in my binder. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, well I got a new schedule. And it so happens we have the same biology class."

'Great I'm stuck with him. And why is he so concerned about the note. Maybe I should see this as a good thing. I mean I wanted to find out if he was the one.'

"Mai, Mai! Are you listing?!"

"Hmm, what?"

I turned to see that Jason was inches away from my face. I felt my face get hot and looked down at my lap, my hair hiding my face.

"Mai are you okay. Your face looks like a cherry."

I looked up at him immediately after he said that.

"Wait, someones said that to me before. When I was younger I met a boy. I told him not to do anything stupid. Them he made me blush and said I looked like a cherry."

Jason gave me a look that I couldn't quite interrupt.

"But it's probably a coincidence that you said it."

I let out a nervous laugh.

'why am I telling all of this to him. He probably thinks that I'm crazy.'

"I don't think it's a coincidence that I said it. I've said it before."

"Jason, where did you move from?"

"Well that's hard to explain. Unless you already know where I came from. And I think you do know. Also I've been wondering, what's the mark on your hand?"

Oh my mark. I hadn't thought about where I got it. All I knew us that I had it the morning after I had gone tithe woods.

"This mark, I don't know much about it. I've had it ever since I came back from the woods one night. Although I don't remember coming back. I don't even know what the mark is exactly. All I know is that it has a special meaning."

"That's interesting."

"Jason, you said I looked like someone you knew. Can you describe her to me?"

"There's not much to describe. She looked just like you. Your hair and eyes. It's really kind of a blur. It's been eight years since I last saw her. I promised myself that I would find her one day."

"Do you know about a willow that was inhabited by butterflies? I met a boy there, in the woods, eight years ago. He left me this note. The note gave me little on who he was but it gave me enough to know I wanted to find him."

I pulled the note out of my binder. I didn't know if it was the right thing to let him read it but I had to find out.

"I don't need to read the note. I already know that it says."

Sorry I have updated in a while. To be honest I don't think anyone is really reading this story. If anyone is I would like to get some feed back from you guys. I know this story sucks but it's my first one that I've written.
