The Man was getting irritated. They were progressing too fast. The Man picked up his phone yet again, and dialed the number. The phone began to ring. One ring, two rings three ri-

"Hello?"

"Weir, slow down the group. Give them a distraction. But do not take them down. They are progressing too fast."

"Yes, sir" Weir replied, sounding irratated.

"Weir, this is your last chance. You do not want to fail me again." And with that, he slammed the phone on the dock. The Man stood up from his leather chair, and looked out, to the New York skyline. Some time soon, this will all be his.

And The Man smiled at this thought. They will have no idea, until it's too late.

Chapter 14

Liam Capulet was watching the kid with white eyes. He was younger than he was, but had a lean body. The smile on his face was mischievous, and Liam liked it, he took comfort in it. The kid simply looked at him and said "Hey Liam, I'm Max. And we're going to get you out of here."

"Wait We?" Liam said confused.

"Yes, we. You don't happen to have a couple of weapons or blades do you?" Max asked, intently.

"Yeah, the big one took them from me. But do you have something for me?" Max knew what he was talking about, and reached into his boot, pulling out Liam's silver bear necklace. And Max handed him the necklace through the jail cell. "You didn't have to put it in your boot, Max." But Max simply rolled his eyes and went into his boot again, this time pulling out a small walkie-talkie.

Max brought it to his face, and spoke into it. "Okay girls, let's see what you got. Ahvie, take out the cams, and Nina, blow cell three." Then Max took the walkie talkie and put it in his boot, and looked at Liam. "You might want to take a step back." Liam did as he was told and took a step toward the iron cell door. But Max took a step away from the cell door.

And ran at the door, pushing it open. The cell door swung open, just as Liam's cell wall simply crumbled open, with barely a sound, to show a girl with violet eyes. "Let's go." The girl said simply. Liam looked back at Max once before following the girl.

Max however, walked into the office's of the station, where eight officers were on duty. Max simply smiled and continued walking to the front, where they kept all the confiscated belongings. Of course, one of the officer's saw him, and stood up. "Hey! Stop where you are and put your hands in the air!" But when the officer brought Max's hands behind his back, Max started to have some fun.

Max swung around and brought the officer's arm with him. Max twisted the arm and whispered into the officer's ear. "You will bring me a set of blades, that you took from the kid in cell three. Or I snap you neck like a twig and get it myself." By this time the other officers had recovered from the shock, and pointed their guns in the direction of Max, who was using the officer as a shield.

Max was pleased when he saw the man nod quickly. Max took the gun from the officer's sheah and pointed it at the other officers. Max turned the officer sideways to face one half of the officers with their guns pointed at Max. Max took the gun and held it out to face the other half of the officers. Slowly, he moved the officer in his hands to the front office, pushing back the others. Then Max pointed the gun at the windows and shattered them, opening them up for the night sky to shine in the already lit building. Max continued to point the gun and prayed that Ahvie was paying attention.

Three arrows flew threw the window, all laced with chloroform, knocking out the three officers that Max couldn't protect himself against. But then everything went to shit. The other officers got scared, and opened fire on Max, killing the Officer in his hands. Max dropped the body and ran at the remaining officers. He counted four of them, but they were wasting their ammunitions. Max took his gun and shot one officer in the leg, while running at him.
