Vincent glanced up at his mom, her hand warm in his tiny one. His face was glowing, a bright, beaming smile on his babyish face. "Mama," he giggled, "let's go on the Ferris wheel!"

"Okay baby, but after we eat," she smiled down lovingly, pulling him gently towards the food court. Vincent stumbled, trying to keep up with her longer legs, as he glanced around. A happy clown was waving at him; he waved back, before his mom pulled him away, worriedly. "Who were you waving at, Vincey?"

"The happy clown!" Vincent grinned, pointing at where the clown had stood. He wasn't there anymore though. The mother looked down at him, a concerned smile on her face, before looking at the menu to the hotdog truck.

"What do you want, sweetie?" She asked, letting go of his hand for a second to pull out her wallet. Vincent didn't answer, so she glanced down at where he had been.

She scanned the carnival, searching for her son. After a second, her panic set in. "Oh my god, my baby! My baby, he's missing!" She started screaming. Everyone continued on with their day, almost as if they hadn't heard her. "Hello?! Help me find my baby!" She went to stop a young mother, thinking she would understand, but her hand went right through her.

"You don't have a son, Miss Hall," a cheerful voice told her from behind. "After all, a ghost can't have children."
