---Troye's POV (if you read my last A/N you would understand why this chapter is in Troye's POV again)---
"Sir, sir? Did you hear me?"
"Yes I heard what I needed to hear. He doesn't love me, he never will. He broke my heart by running out on me! Faking all this romance... Just for... Just for fun." I started sobbing again. I don't know why I had just said all that to a stranger. It didn't matter, he probably thought I was a fool anyways, having my date run out on me.
"Sir, you didn't hear all of it."
I looked up at him and he continued speaking.
"Your boyfriend... He got taken away in an ambulance-"
I didn't need to hear the rest, I was already on my feet and running out the door. I think I heard something about a panic attack, but that didn't matter now. All that mattered was that Tyler was okay.
I waved down a taxi and told them to rush to the nearest hospital as fast as they could. I was getting really anxious now.
I texted Alfie and Zoe and Jackie and all of my family. Alfie and Zoe were on their way and Jackie was getting the first plane from Michigan to Paris.
When I arrived at the hospital I grabbed a twenty dollar bill and handed it to the driver, not caring about the change. For driving me here, I could pay him all the money in the world and it still wouldn't be enough.
I rushed in and sprinted to the first desk I saw. Thankfully it was someone who could help.
"Hi my name is Troye Sivan and my boyfriend came here in an ambulance about 30 minutes ago, would you have any idea where he might be?" I tried not to sound anxious but she seemed to have sensed it.
"What's his name?"
"Tyler Oakley." Once his name escaped my mouth the tears started coming again. I tried to wipe them away, but they wouldn't stop until I saw for myself that Tyler was okay.
"I'll be back in a second." She replied.
I'm sure in reality she was only gone for a minute, but a minute without Tyler felt like and eternity.
"He's on the third floor in room 148."
"Thank you so so much!"
Before I knew it I was running up the stairs, not bothering to wait for the elevator. I got to the third floor and searched frantically around for room 148.
139,140,141,142,143,144,145,146,147- 148.
This was it. This was the moment of truth.
I was about to knock on the door when a nurse came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder.
"Excuse me sir, but you can't go in there."
"Why not?"
"Well, first off, what's you relationship with man."
"I'm his boyfriend." I said it so confidently that I scared myself.
"Why weren't you in the ambulance with him?"
"Well we were on a date and he had arrived I don't know how long before me to set it up, and when j got there I was informed by one of the waiters that he was taken away by an ambulance."
"Very well then. Well you can't go in there right now because he is in surgery."
"Surgery?!" I could feel my eyes widen with terror.
"Why don't you come with me for a little chat and I'll tell you about what happened and what's about to happen."
I looked longingly at the door, I don't think I could leave him. I needed to be right by his door when the doctor would come out to tell me I was allowed to go in.
The nurse seemed to understand what I was feeling.
"It's alright, he won't be out for another hour. You'll have plenty of time."
"Okay."
I followed to nurse to a little room down the hallway. We sat across from each other and she started talking.
"So basically what happened was that he had a panic attack. But when he fell, he hit his head off the corner of the table and cracked his skull a bit, which is why he's in surgery. Ween he fell and hit his head, he hit it pretty hard and there may be some memory issues. There is a 2 in 5 chance that it won't occur but there's still a possibility, but we won't know until he wakes up and has had some time to recover from surgery."
I took a few minutes trying to process all of this new information. Why had he had a panic attack? Will he be alright? Will he have to stay here?
"How long will he be in the hospital for?" I asked cautiously.
"Well, the doctors were talking about moving him to a hospital in L.A. so he could be where he lives."
But our trip. There was still 2 weeks left. That didn't matter now, all that mattered was getting Tyler back to health. I decided right then and there that I would never, EVER, leave his side again. That meant I was going to go to L.A. with him.
Just then a doctor burst into the room.
"Susan", I guess that was her name," we need your help in room 148, he's appearing to have a nightmare in the middle of surgery. He won't calm down, even with an anesthetic."
Before anyone could see me I ran into his room and rushed to his bed. All the doctors were to shocked to do anything.
I grabbed his hand and kneeled down beside him. I leaned in and whispered one word I knew would calm him down, I knew it would.
"Tilly." I whispered softly.
The violent shaking started calming down, and my hand still grasped his.
"You can't be in here." The nurse said. When she tried to pull me away my hand lost Tyler's and he starting stirring in his sleep. I pulled away from the nurse and grabbed his hand, hoping to reassure him. It worked.
"For this surgery to work we need him calm, which means he can't be having nightmares. Young man, I believe if you want your friend to have the safest surgery ever, you'll need to stay here." The doctor said.
Yes! Yesyesyesyes! I got to stay with Tilly a whole lot longer than I expected. Even though I could faint because of the sight, I would stay here for him.
A/N:
So what do ya think? Here's a longish chapter! I tricked you!!!!! I hope! Comment on this part if I did trick you into thinking that Tyler left the date!Unfortunately I feel better today (it's good and bad), it's bad because I have a lot of creative juices flowing and I need to write them down! And I can't do that during flipping school! But it's good because I feel better... I'd rather stay home and write.
