Chapter 1: A rude awakening

Hey guys so this is one of my first stories and I want to know what you think. Um....I don't own Naruto and I'd like to dedicate this first chapter to my friends Sophie and Mary who helped get a lot of inspiration!

Kk's POV

It all started when I woke up soaking wet and on the floor. Like all main characters in these things, I have that one friend who thinks its funny to pour water on me to wake me up.
I wiped water off my face and groggily opened up my eyes, to see that friend standing above me. She probably had a smirk on her face, but I couldn't really tell because she wore a mask over her mouth.
"Your finally awake, KK, that's the second bucket of water I've had to pour on you." She said. I looked at my bed, which, like me, was soaking wet.
I stood up, glaring at her, I saw her eyes flash and then get wide. She was probably looking at my chakra right now, and could see how angry I was. "HITOMI, I HAVEN'T SLEPT OR EATEN IN THREE DAYS, AND I WAS PLANNING ON SLEEPING UNTIL NOON, IT'S FIVE!" I said angrily, "NOT ONLY THAT BUT BECAUSE IM WET, I CANT USE MY FOX FIRE TO GET BACK AT YOU!" I said trying to make my fists light on fire. That might sound weird, but it's one of my 'powers'. She tilted her head, squinted her eyes in a kind of smile, held out a plate of waffles and said "I made waffles! Now come on and get ready, we're supposed to meet that shinobi with the hokage, remember? "
I continued to glare at her. Well, you can always count on Hitomi to stay calm and act like its nothing when someone's mad at her. After a second she sighed and put the waffles down, then she said "I guess we'll just have to tell the hokage that we couldn't make it since you want to be Ms.Grumpy pants..." Her image started to flicker. OH NO YOU DON'T!
"HITOMI, DON'T YOU DARE GO INVIS ON ME!" I yelled. After that I couldn't see her at all and the door seemingly opened and closed on its own, then, Inu, Hitomi's black panther, stood on its hind legs, opened the door itself and followed. I stormed out of the house, not even thinking to change out of my pajamas.
Naruto's POV:
----1 Hour Later----
Sasuke, Sakura and I were all sitting on the grass waiting for Kakashi.
"Ugh! Why is he always late! I even skipped breakfast for this!" Sakura said.
"Yeah! I don't even have time to brush my teeth!" I agreed. Sakura and Sasuke looked at me weirdly.
"Naruto, that's gross" Sasuke said.
I crossed my arms. That doesn't change the fact that I didn't have time...
All of a ,sudden Kakashi appeared, sitting on a log with his book in his hands.
"Sorry I'm late, I got lost on the path of life..." He said.
Sakura looked really mad.
"That's no excuse!" She said angrily.
Kakashi put his book away and said "anyways, I called you all here to say that I'm not going to be here today because I have to meet a sand village ninja that's in our 'foreign ninja exchange program', so you have the day off."
I smiled, "that's great! Now we can do whatever we want!"
Sakura still looked mad, "SO I MISSED BREAKFAST AND WAITED HERE FOR AN HOUR JUST SO YOU COULD TELL US WE HAD THE DAY OFF?!"
Yeesh, Sakura can get real scary when she's mad... Eh, she's still awesome.
Kakashi just said "Yeah, that sounds about right."
Sakura was still mad, but then all of a sudden smiled. "Well, that just means I can spend the whole day with Sasuke!" She said, overjoyed. Sasuke rolled his eyes.
I rolled my eyes as well, "Sakura, can you just focus on something other than Sasuke for once! You're always going 'Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke!' No one ever cares about me!" I said crossing my arms again. I looked up at Kakashi, who had his 'smile' eyes on. Wait, come to think of it, has Kakashi EVER liked someone?
"Hey Kakashi, have you ever liked someone? Or even had a girlfriend?" I asked.
All of a sudden Sasuke and Sakura seemed interested in this as well. "Yeah, Kakashi, have you?" Sakura asked.
Kakashi looked like he was thinking hard. "I've... never really had time for that," he said "Anyway, I have to go," and just like that, he was off.
Now what am I gonna do with the rest of my day...
I looked around, squinting and looking for something to do. WOW COOL!
"Hey guys! There's a giant cat over there! Believe it!" I said enthusiastically.
"Sure, Naruto." Sasuke said. Sometimes, he just makes me so mad.
I got up to go see the cat, and heard birds flying out of the forest. I shrugged it off. The cat had black hair and was wearing a ninja headband around its neck and the badge had a sand village symbol on it. This cat also had cuffs around the ankles on its forearms. It was also sleeping. I poked its cheek and it did nothing. Is it dead? I poked it again and again, well about 20 times and then it opened up its neon green eyes, moved over by another tree and then layed down and went to sleep. I got determined to pet that cat.
I walked over and started petting it, once again it moved to a different spot.
This continued for a really long time until I was eventually chasing it through the forest!
"CAT, JUST LET ME PET YOU!!!" I yelled as I chased it.
I was just starting to catch up to it when it ran straight up a tree, walked onto a branch, layed down and started sleeping.
"GAHH! I CANT GET UP THERE!" I yelled frustrated. I tried climbing the tree, but I just slipped back down. I was really frustrated! I started kicking the tree. Then I got a genius idea!
"Shadow clone jutsu!" I said. Then, about 50 mes appeared around me.
"Alright guys, we need to kick down this tree!" I yelled out to them.
"Yeah!" They all replied at once.
We started kicking the tree when all of a sudden...
Meanwhile...
Sakura's POV:
Kakashi Sensei and Naruto had left like a minute or two ago and I was wondering what EXACTLY I wanted to do today when I heard a flock of birds fly out of the forest, like they had been scared by something, followed by someone's frustrated scream.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Dunno, I'm gonna go check it out." Sasuke replied and got up.
He's SOOOO brave!
"I'll go too!" I said following him into the forest.
The source of the noise wasn't that hard to find, since the person would NOT STOP YELLING. We finally found her.
She looked like a 14 year-old, had black hair, fiery orange and red eyes, she was wearing REALLY short pajama bottoms, a T-shirt and... bunny slippers? She also was dripping wet, and from what she was saying, probably crazy.
"HITOMI!!! WHERE THE FLUFF ARE YOU!!!" She yelled, shaking her fists in the air. Was it just me or were her eyes flaming? "IM SERIOUSLY GONNA MURDER YOU WHEN YOU ARE VISIBLE AGAIN!!! BECAUSE OF YOU I LOST MY PRECIOUS AND LIMITED SLEEP! I COULD HAD SLEPT 6 MORE HOURS! ON TOP OF THAT, I CAN'T EVEN USE MY FOX FIRE, DO YOU KNOW HOW AGGRAVATING THAT IS?! "
Sounds like she's talking to noone.... definately crazy...
All of a sudden a different girls voice came from somewhere near the girl, but it wasn't her and I couldn't see who it was.
"KK, can you quiet down, the noise has attracted company..." The voice said. Wait, they knew we were here?
The girl, who I am assuming is 'KK' said "I DON'T CARE! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS! I NEED TO CHANGE, I NEED A NAP... AND FOOD! OR THIS VILLAGE IS GOING DOWN IN FLAMES WHEN I GET MY FOX FIRE BACK!" She continued rambling when I felt something on my shoulder. I turned around and there was a girl resting her elbows on Sasuke and my shoulders. I didnt have enough time to really get a good glimpse, but she looked about Kakashi Senseis age, she had really weird bold blue eyes with 7 pupils in a circle around where her 1 pupil should be, her red-brown hair was in a ponytail, except for her bangs, and she wore a navy blue mask over her mouth and neck. She had a ninja headband around her neck, but I couldn't tell what village she was from. She put a finger up to her lips and looked at Sasuke and me to signal for us to be quiet, then her image started to flicker and soon she disappeared. I looked at Sasuke, he looked just as confused as I was. Was that the girl KK is yelling at, Hitomi? And the mysterious voice?
All of a sudden KK grasped the air and yelled "HA! GOTCHA!"
The voice went "KK LET GO! THAT'S MY HEADSET!"
KK was now holding a weird looking piece of metal and she stuck out her tongue. I thought I saw that girl from earlier, I squinted and sure enough her image was flickering into view, and she looked MAD.
"KK, GIVE. THAT. BACK. NOW," Hitomi said "I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO KILL YOU WITH THIS BUT IT WILL STILL HURT, AND YOU KNOW THAT." All of a sudden the once sunny sky was covered in dark clouds and thunder was rumbling. Did Hitomi do that? KK looked up and gulped.
"No fair! I don't have my scythe!" She said crossing her arms. She sighed and held out the metal. "Fine, but this wont happen often."
Hitomi took the metal and arranged it around her ear. The sky was back to normal and the birds were chirping. I let out a deep breath when all of a sudden a loud *BOOM* came from the forest. Then, a stampede of Naruto clones came crashing towards us chasing a black panther with a ninja headband as a collar
"WE'VE GOT YOU NOW CAT!" He yelled. NARUTO WHAT DID YOU DO!
I looked over at Hitomi and KK. Hitomi sighed. All of a sudden a gust of powerful wind came out of nowhere and all of Naruto's clones disappeared. WHAT.
The panther sat down next to Hitomi. I realized I could get a good look at both Hitomi and the cat now. Both of their ninja headbands had cloud village symbols on them. Hitomi had a gray tank top on, and half of her jeans had white and navy blue striped and the other side was ombre grey and white. She wore black boots with light blue straps connecting to her pants, she also has cloth coming from each of her pockets, one was light blue and had yellow stars, the other had black and white vertical stripes with blue horizontal stripes inside the white stripes. One She also had either curse marks or tattoos on her arms. On her left there was a circle of 7 dots, two parallel bars with reflecting triangles on them and a lighting cloud on her upper arm. On her right arm there was a sand-village symbol above a star and a cloud village symbol. There were matching swirls going all the way around her wrists on both arms. She also has a star necklace and a crescent moon necklace.
Naruto was now sitting with us. "Who are they?" he asked I rolled my eyes.
Hitomi looked over at us. "It's okay, you don't have to hide." She said. We walked out from our hiding spots.
"I'm Hitomi, and this is KK and my black panther, Inu" she said.
Naruto laughed "Inu means dog! Thats a cat!" Hitomi laughed.
"Yeah, I named him that on purpose." she replied.
I smiled, that's actually kind of funny, "I'm Sakura and this is Naruto and Sasuke." I said.
Hitomi looked at KK and rolled her eyes "I still can't believe you forgot to change before you left the house." she said.
KK looked at her and then realized what she has just said. "Oh yeah! Ill change now." she said. Hitomi nodded. What? Here? Now?
KK did a jutsu and all of a sudden a wardrobe popped out of nowhere. She literally walked inside. After a few seconds she came out fully dressed, with a really long scythe. She was wearing a crop top, with one short sleeve and one long sleeve, one side was black with a white shoulder and the other was white with a black shoulder. she wore fishnet under that, it went halfway up her neck and stopped before it reached a choker and went all the way down to her waist. she had bandages around her arms too, and she had a gray and white metal belt with an orange and black yin-yang symbol on a jewel in the middle. She had red short short leggings under a skirt of some sort. The skirt had black fabric with a white dot in the middle and then there was a longer piece of white fabric overlapping it with a black dot, and many small red dots on the edge of the fabric. There  was really only two inches of skin exposed on her legs, because her boots went up almost all the way to the end of her red leggings. One of her boots was black with a white stripe around the ankle, and the other was white with a black stripe.
Her scythe was taller than her and the blade was like ¾ her size, and it had black and red lines through it and different symbols on it. There were also lots of ninja headbands tied around the handle, each with a different village symbol on it. I wonder how she got those...
"Okay, thats better..." she said.
Hitomi was talking to her cat.
"So, he wouldn't leave you alone... He knocked down a tree you were sleeping on! What?!" she said. The cat nodded.
Hitomi looked at Naruto. "Naruto, I'm really sorry about this, but you messed with my cat..." She said. She snapped her fingers and all of a sudden Naruto had a tiny storm cloud above his head. He looked up and poked it. "Its so cuuutttee!!" He said... then his cloud started raining... with lightning.
He started running around, freaking out "GET THIS THING OFF MEEEE!!!" He said. No matter where he went the cloud followed him, every once in a while the lighting would strike him, it was barely enough to hurt him. I looked at Inu, was he laughing?
Naruto went up to Hitomi and begged for her to get rid of it. She smiled "okay, but you have to promise not to mess with Inu again, okay?"
He replied "YES! I PROMISE!"
Hitomi snapped her fingers again and the cloud evaporated.
KK POV

I sorta felt sorry for the kid knowing first hand how it felt to be chased around by a miniature sky devil. However at the same time I felt nothing but utter amusement. To say that I had forgiven Hitomi for her rude awakening this morning would be a mistake. No actually I was just preparing for the ultimate pay back; it could take months years even but I would get revenge. You better believe that revenge would be mine.
Apparently I was evilly chuckling because when I came back from the dark corners of my mind every one was looking kinda scared.(Except Hitomi she really just looked amused) However being the awesomely awesome person I am I just shrugged and jumped on Hitomi's back.
I must have dozed off cause when I woke up I was on a random bench...and alone. So I did what any normal friend would do I transported to Hitomi. When I got to wherever they were, there was a old man hitting on Hitomi. To say I was pissed was an understatement. So to show that I had laid claim on this human I went up to Hitomi groped her and said,"she's my bitch..bastard."
The looks of shock that filled the room almost made me laugh, but that would ruin this moment so I held it in.
Hitomi just sighed and said," Hokage-sama this is my summoning..." I chose that moment to butt in and say," BESTFRIEND... don't forget the best friend part."
Hitomi once again sighed and finished what she was saying," yes my best friend Kage no Kitsune, who if she doesn't let go will soon find herself handless!"
I let go and then turned around to face the white haired pervy old man and decided that if I couldn't show that Hitomi was my property then I would just have to tell him so and if he continued to go down the path he was on I would rip him limb from limb. Then I would dance on his body until he died after a series of horrible tortures for touching something that did not belong to him...even if he only implied it.
I turned took a deep breath then started the rant of the century," YOU BASTARD, HITOMI IS MY FUCKING HUMAN AND IF YOU LAY ONE HAND, FINGER, HAIR, NAIL, EYE, OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER ON HER YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF IN THE VERY PITS OF HELL. I WILL MAKE YOU WISH THAT YOU WERE DEAD,AND EVEN WHEN YOU BEG FOR DEATH I WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR PLEA AND INSTEAD REVIVE YOU SO YOU WILL FEEL MY WRATH FOR ALL ETERNITY. I DO NOT WANT TO EVEN SEE OR HEAR THAT YOU FLIRTED OR DID ANYTHING TO EVEN IMPLY THAT YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING WITH HER! Do I make myself CLEAR!"
To say that everyone in the room had probably peed their self was an understatement. The hokage's pipe had fallen to the floor. The kids from earlier had dropped to the ground and had a look of pure horror... except for the blonde who just looked up at me in awe and said *cough* excuse me yelled," TRAIN ME PLEASE, YOU WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER SENSIE THAN KAKASHI!!!!!!!"
I was extremely flattered then it hit me, and before I could put the filter back on my mouth I blurted out," So the pervy old man's name is Kakashi?"
At that exact moment Hitomi bursted out laughing and fell to the floor in a fit of laughter so loud I figured that the people in Suna could hear it.

Suna's pov

*insanely loud laughing*
" WHAT THE HELL"

Kage's pov

After hitomi got herself back together she turned to the Hokage and said," As I was saying this a summoning of mine that I met a long time ago and if I remember correctly you've met her.
The hokage looked at me,stood up,and hugged me. Simply stating," It took you long enough."
I smiled and hugged him back and laughed a little and in reply I said," Yeah sorry it took so long Saru-chan..I kinda...sorta... got stuck."
I looked down ashamed that I the great Yokai had got stuck. Saru just laughed and rubbed my head. He then went to his desk and pulled out the most amazing thing ever. Saru pulled out a little leaf symbol made of crystal with fox fire inside. When I saw that I just about cried.
" You kept it... I thought you would have thrown it away or lost it by now."
Saru just looked at me and said," how could I get rid of a gift from one of my best friends and my favorite teacher."
Just as the word teacher left his mouth all hell broke loose.
