"Vincent! If you don't get your stupid, dick loving ass down those steps in 30 seconds, we're leaving without you!!" calls Mike from downstairs. I've been upstairs, dreading on whether or not I should go to California with Mike and my brother. I have no reason not to go, except If I do go, my chances of cheating on Stephanie are pretty high. I mean, have you seen the legs on those girls? I know that we aren't leaving for a few weeks, but I'm still conflicted.

"Vincent!" Mikey takes his turn to yell at me.

"Shut the fuck up! I'm coming!" I yell as I grab my sneakers and run down the steps. "I'm a grown fucking man!"

"Well your grown ass was about to get left behind. Let's go!" Mikey says as he pushes me out the door, Mike following behind. Mikey drives and I take the passenger seat as Mike climbs in the back, frowning.

"Why the long face?" I ask as Mikey starts the car. My body turns so that I'm facing Mike.

"Why I gotta sit in the back?" Mike pouts, crossing his arms.

"I'm sorry, I thought we graduated middle school. You're pouting because you have to sit in the back?" Mikey asks, looking in the review mirror.

Mike diverts his gaze from me to Mikey, glaring daggers. "Did I ask you? I don't remember."

I snicker and Mikey sends me the 'shut up' glare. "Why are you so pissed?"

"Why are you so white?" Mike counters and Mikey steps on the brakes quickly, making Mike's head fly towards the back of the seat in front of him. I shake my head at his counter. He just started something he can't finish.

"Say that again?" Mikey glares as he turns around completely in his seat. My gaze shifts from Mike to my brother and back repeatedly.

"I said... why are you so white?" Mike repeats and I sigh. This shit is pointless.

"Mikey, just let it go. It doesn't matter. I don't feel like listening to your rant again. This shit is old. You know you're not just white, so relax please. I really want to get drunk!" I say as I try to ease the tension.

"First off...Mike, why you gotta be racist? Second, I'm not just white, so calm yourself down okay?" Mikey's voice raises and I rub my temples. This rant always goes on forever.

"You look white," Mike mumbles and Mikey retorts by saying "and you look ugly."

Mike snorts as do I. "Please, Mikey, their is nothing ugly about me."

"You sure about that?"

"Yup," Mike laughs and Mikey rolls his eyes as he starts the car again.

"And who told you that you're attractive?"

"Your mother did."

I grimaced at that one amd Mikey let out a deep animalistic growl. "Watch what you say about my mom."

They pratically argue throughout the whole car ride, and I block them out by putting my headphones one and listen to rap music. Is it weird that rap soothes me?

Probably.

"They 'gon remember me, I say remember me. So much money all your friends turn into your enemies."
