Expect the Unexpected

Marco's POV:

So today was like any ordinary day, at first. I woke up at 8:30 am and got up to get dressed.

"HAPPY SATURDAY MARCO!" Star yelled in my face.

"Yeah happy Saturday, what's got you so hyped up?" I ask.

She giggles in response and runs to her room. I see that she is drawing something, I'm not sure what but I walk in and ask,"Hey whatcha drawing?" I tried to peek but she covered it with her head and muffled,"NOTHING!" I was a bit confused, but just shook it off. I go to make myself some pancakes since my parents aren't home. I then hear Star giggling while talking to someone. I then run upstairs to listen.

"Star Butterfly, out of all the people of this world, out of everyone in any dimension, you choose-" but then the voice was cut off by Star shushing them.

"Shhh he'll hear you. And yes I choose him. You guys seem cute together and should apologize for what happened at the Blood Moon Ball." She says.

"Ugh fine. But if it doesn't go well then don't blame me for the damage." He says. Wait that voice sounds familiar. TOM???

"Ok I'll see you in a bit. BYEEE" Star then ends the call.

"Who was that?" I ask keeping my cool.

"No one you would care about. LETS GO DOWNSTAIRS SOMEONE IS COMIINNNGGG!" She replies and drags me down the  stairs. Someone knocks on the door and Star goes up and answers it. Oh what is he doing here?

"Hey Star" Tom said.

Star takes his hand and drags him upstairs. She then takes my hand at least 5 seconds later and drags me into her room. She shuts the door and leaves me here with Tom.

"Um why are you here?" I ask him

"I don't know what Star is planning, but she told me to spend the day with you and apologize for what happened at the Blood Moon Ball. The consequences were very severe so I had to give in." He said. Why would Star want him to spend the day with me though?

He leans against the nearest wall and has a bored expression on his face.

"Hey you like Star right?" He asked me. I shook my head no. He seemed surprised at first but then just went back to his bored expression.

My ring tone goes off and I see I get a text from Star. And surprisingly two missed calls from Jackie and 3 text messages from her.

Star's Text: Hey how's it going? You guys friends yet?

Jackie's Texts: Hey Marco wanna go get some smoothies today?

Please answer I want to ask you something.

Marco?

Shoot I thought. She texted me an hour ago. I texted Star back by saying we were talking.

Tom then cleared his throat. "Something wrong? You look like your miserable." I shake my head no.

"It's not you. There's this girl I used to like and now she's being nice to me. For some reason I don't seem to like her anymore." I say.

"That's weird." He says with a chuckle.

"You are pretty nice for a demon." I say. And kinda cute........... Hold on am I starting to like him? No I can't like my best friend's ex boyfriend!

Tom's POV:

Marco seemed to have dozed off after saying I was nice. He seemed to have been staring at me every now and then and when our eyes met he would blush. What's up with him? Does he........ like me? NO WAY AFTER WHAT HAPPENED WITH STAR!

"Marco I always thought you were kinda cute when I met you," I blurt out. I blush while he looks surprised. He then starts walking towards me.

"Do you really mean that Tom?" He asks still walking towards me. I swallow hard and nod. He smiles and hugs me. I hug back. He's so warm........ I don't wanna let go. I pull away and look at him smiling. He then leans in and kisses me. I got a shiver down my spine while I kissed back. He wrapped his arms around my neck and I wrap my hands around his waist pulling him in more. He pulls away to get some air. I blush as he smirks.

Marco's POV:

That surprisingly felt amazing. As I smirk, he blushes.

"You look cute when you blush." I say and he pulls me into another kiss. After a few seconds I hear the door open but ignore it. Tom tries to pull away but I don't let him. We finally pull away quickly when we hear someone clear their throat.

Oh god please don't mess this up!

Star stares at us with a smirk. "Haha I knew this would happen. Marco someone's at the door to see you." She says and walks away. I look at Tom and see he seems uneasy. I hug him and say,"Don't worry I'll be back." I walk down and see the least person I would want to see. Jackie.

"Hey Marco why didn't you answer my texts and calls? I was becoming worried!" She said like I was her boyfriend. I looked at her weird and said,"Sorry I didn't have my phone at the moment."

She looks at me and holds my hand. "Hey I was wondering if you would, um, go on a date with me tonight?" She asks super nervous.

"I'm sorry I have plans for tonight." I say. She then says it's ok and leaves, I feel bad but I had to. I walk back upstairs to see Tom leaned against the wall. He looked like he was deep in thought. I clear my throat and he looks up. I hug him and say,

"I'm all yours."
