With a final move, Sehun swings his leg around and finishes the dance gracefully although he slips little, his body losing its balance. His head still hurts from the previous collide with one of the camera cranes but he did his best to hide the pain. He had to wear a cap though, to hide the bandage around his head so the fans wouldn't go crazy.
Sehun pants for a while, feeling his head throbs and his whole body shaking. It hurts so bad that he's about to fall on the stage if it's not because of Chanyeol's hand that catches him immediately before his face could meet the floor of the stage.
"You alright, Sehun?" He faintly hears Chanyeol's voice, thick with concern and worry. He could only nod before brushing away Chanyeol's hand from his shoulder as he staggered towards the backstage, not even caring to greet the fans some smile or wave.
Chanyeol watches him with a wrinkled forehead.
It has always been like this since Luhan hyung left them. Sehun brushing everyone else away and refusing to speak for more than 3 lines. It got their leader to worry even more since they know that Sehun was really close to Luhan. Luhan was his favourite hyung and also his pillar of strength. Luhan was the only one who could cheer him up whenever he felt down and distressed, usually because he thought he was useless to the group since he rarely got any lines in every songs which is a big no since his main forte is dancing so he didn't really need to sing unless when needed.
Chanyeol could only sigh as he follows everyone to the backstage and giving the crowd of fans his big goofy smile, they were train to always smile after all, no matter what happened, you must always smile to the fans.
Sehun is the first one to arrive at the backstage and he sits down on one of the couch there, feeling exhausted and drained out. Everyone enters the dressing room and collapses on top of each other. That was their last performance before they go up the stage again for the final speech to the fans.
"10 minutes rest before final speech." Their manager shouts from outside the door and Suho is the only one who replies an 'okay' to him whilst everyone else just groan tiredly.
Sehun lets himself drifts away in his thoughts, ignoring the members who are chattering wildly. Suddenly he feels tired. Like really tired from all this.
"Luhan hyung..." That name rolls itself on his tongue unconsciously.
He remembers that angelic face, those doe eyes that always shine brightly.
He also remembers the day, the fateful day when Luhan announced that he's leaving the group. The day when everything between them shattered into pieces.
"I-I've made a decision and I-I think it's the best conclusion I can come up to."
"I-I'm leaving the group."
Sehun can't think properly, his breath hitched and his heart felt like its being squeezed to the max. A jumble of thoughts swarmed into his head and he felt like everything was breaking apart. Like they're walking on a thin glass all this while, and it finally crack, giving them out.
He had always noticed the tiredness on Luhan's face, and how he always rubs his hip during practice, face contorted with nothing but pain. But he never know that Luhan was broken to this extend.
Sehun felt angry for a sudden, he felt betrayed. After all those years they've been together, the hard times when Kris actually left and never looking back. The time when they cried together for the very first time on a show. When they shouted the signature 'we are one' after that with heart full of promises.
Promises on not to abandoned this group and will always be together.
Does all that mean nothing to Luhan anymore?
