Only Gonna Happen in Dreams

Chapter #1

"Come on honey! Get up. You don't wanna be late for school." mom yelled as she passed my door. So I got up and got ready for school. It's kinda different this time from what I usually do when I got up because I just moved from Florida so It's gonna be hard for me to be as quick as usual. So after I got ready, I went down and smelled something so good that I just wanna eat all day long. So I got to the kitchen eagerly to find out what was that delicious smell and I saw my mom with a pan cooking breakfast. She put the foods on my plate and without a doubt I ate it all up quickly.

After that, my mom drove me to school and I got off. I felt as if the time stopped because I was amazed at the new school. It was so large and cool. As soon as the time was ticking again, a really nice teacher greeted me and led me to my locker.

"Hi. Im miss Kanya" said the teacher with a friendly voice.

As I walked in the school, I was so flattered by the school that my mouth wouldn't close. The teacher showed me around the school as she guide me to my locker. The school was like a castle to me.

"Well here you are, your locker."said miss Kanya with a warm smile "You're gonna love it here. And if you need anything you can tell me. I think we're gonna see each other very often."

"Thank you so much! It was lovely meeting you." I said amazed by her kindness

So I opened my locker and started to lightened up my backpack. it felt so light that most of my books are in the locker. When I closed my locker, I noticed that the hall was filled with students all laughing and talking to each other.

I started to look around. Then, I saw this girl who was lonely, leaning to her locker. So I approached her and she smiled at me so I smiled back.

"Hi, Im Diana" I said with a friendly voice

"Hi, Im Christina" she said

So we talked till the bell rang. I found out that we're on the same grade and got the same classes. We walked together to class. On our way there, a super friendly girl approached us'

"Hi! Im Stacey! And you must be Diana and Christina. I kinda over heard you guys talking and thought that I want to be your friend!" she said

"Oh hi! Really? Well we're happy to be your friend too." I said

The three of them talked on their way to an audotorium where all the students of Mayfair has gathered. Every student sat down properly and the principal came up on the stage and gave a speech to start the year. the principal's very friendly and looked nice.

"Hi, Im mr. Stanley and Im proud to be the one who's gonna introduce you to our school. The teachers here are gonna give youu guidence through out the year. Our football and basketball's team name is Mateday." said the principal.

Mr. Stanley's really nice. He explained to us all about our school. He even told us some jokes to make it not borig at all. He's a really tall and the coolest principal I've ever had.

After that, he ordered us to get back to class. So we did and a teacher who was asked to showed us around came in the class. Her name's ms. Greenfield.. She's super nice and really beautiful. She turned out to be our science teacher, so first she showed us to the biology lab. Then she takes us to a really cool place where we could all eat from all sorts of delicious foods. It makes me want to try them all at once. Well after she showed us to every corner of the school, she brought us to the library to borrow some books if we want to. We all read books that we found interest in. The library's so big that we had lots of choices to look from.

And soon enough it was time to get out of the library. I borrowed a book about Hawaii since I really want to go there. I read a little bit of a chapter and fell in love with the book. It's got lots of pictures and the book's really addicting. I can't wait till I got home.

We all went to get some food. So we tried to remember where the food castle is. When we stepped our hungry selves in, we all were so amazed at the place. We walked around it to see what food we might want. Then, we all saw a stand called "Sush Up" which sells sushi. We all get sushi and looked for an empty table.

We sat on a table and not so long, two girls walked up on us and asked us if they could join our table. Without any thoughts, I directly said "yes". So they sat and introduce themselves. "Hi, Im Gisselle." said one of the girls. "Hi, Im Caroline." said another one. So like most people usually does, my friends and I introduce ourselves.

"We noticed you guys are such great friends even though you've just met. And we thought we could somehow join you guys." said Caroline

"Yes. It's true, we get along pretty nice with each other. We don't even mind if you'd like to join us. They've always said 'the more the merrier', right?" said Christina

"True." said Caroline

And we all laughed.

We talked till lunch was over. Then, ms. Greenfield came to us again when we've gathered in class. Caroline and Gisselle weren't in the same class like us, so we had to say goodbye when we headed off to class.

Ms. Greenfield took us to the soccer field where we could see them play soccer. They were really good at playing. Then coach Jackson came to us and greeted us. He said that it took them years of practicing to get them that good. He ask our class if any of us wanted to join any of the sports team. He also said that if we do, we could try out next two months.

The offer made the whole class talked about it. They all started discussing the try out and hope they could actually made it to the team. Everyone was so excited!

My friends and I rather watch the team practice and maybe we could spot some moves to help us get in. We tried to analyzed them but couldn't find anything. Then, ms. Greenfield called us in. We all got in the class and she began to explain to us a lot more things about the sport teams with the help of coach Jackson.

And once again the class started to be filled with noises discussing about sports.

And soon enough it was time to leave. My mom was outside picking me up. So I said goodbye to them.

I got home and quickly changed and headed straight to bed to take a rest because I was so tired and wanted to sleep so badly.

When I woke up I realized that I've been asleep for 3 hours. So I quickly got out of bed and texted my new friend. I picked up my backpack and saw the book that I got from the school library. I started to read about it, tend to finish the book. It was already noon and I still haven't finished reading the book.

I realized that I got chores that needed to be done so I stood up and waked to the kitchen. No one was home like usual. I walked to the backyard to trim the bushes in shapes as my mom told me to. When I was done with the bushes and raked all the leaves away and put them to a garbage bag. Then I went in to do more chores. It was exhausting so when I finished them, I continued to read the last ten pages of my books. It was all I could think about when I was cleaning.

When I've finished reading, my dad came home and ate the food that I've cooked. Shortly later, my mom arrived with some groceries. I had to put them in the fridge and cupboards. My mom and I joined my dad who had been eating because he was starving. My parents really love the food I made.

When we all had finished eating, I needed to help my mom by washing the dishes. Then, I went to study before I got ready for bed.

I was glad that it was the end of a day. It felt so good to feel that I'll be fine in the new school. Well at least I hoped that I'll be fine... *Diana fell asleep*
