Here I was back in my old pack and back with my once abusive mate. Jace insisted that we share a room and that he mark me as well. I was pissed but he said its for my own safety.
I was unpacking when Jace came in and sat watching me. He was still the mean brutal ass I always knew him to be. He was still mean to alot of pack members but I was slowly changing that. The kids of the pack were what kept me going and also working in the pack hospital. I was head nurse there and I loved it. Jace hated me working and took to constantly checking on me.
During my lunch break he insisted that we eat together. He was introducing me to the pack as his mate this weekend. I ate very little as we sat in the lunchroom together. Jace kept looking at me wondering what was wrong but I couldn't tell him.
He still was mean to me sometimes and I was having doubts about letting him mark me and introducing me as his mate.
"what's wrong baby? "
I sighed sadly.
"I think us is a bad idea Jace. We don't get along and I can't stand the fact that every female in this pack that you fucked hates me".
He growled.
"who is saying shit I will banish them".
I scoffed and went back to my Chef salad. He was eating steak, mashed potatoes and green beans with sweet dinner rolls. My mouth waters but I just ate my salad and drank my water.
"don't worry I can take care of myself Jace". He growled and stood up. Yanking me into his arms he hugged me. He was mindlinking cause his eyes glazed over.
"Jace what's wrong? "
His hold tightened and I whimpered in pain. He was hurting me.
"let go Jace...please your hurting me".
He looked down and quickly let go of me I felt bruised. His eyes went black as he growled and then I whimpered.
"we need to go home now,he barked out, we need to introduce you now and I need to mark you before the big fight".
I looked up at him confused.
"what big fight Jace? "
He sighed and hugged me and caressed my hair.
"I fight the rogue alpha in two months. Loser gets to run his pack and take over. He also wants you in his bed".
I gasped as tears filled my eyes. I will never go to some strangers bed.
"oh my god",I mumbled standing there in shock, you agreed to this Jace. How could you agree to this and not clue me in?"
He growled and yanked me into his arms. He bent down and captured my lips in a kiss that surprised me.
"I don't plan on losing you or my pack Linds",he said after breaking our kiss.
He kissed from my mouth then to my neck and down to the area he would mark. I was so caught up in his mouth that I didn't have time to say no.
He bit down and marked me. A small yelp left my mouth as pain hit then intense pleasure. He bit harder and I passed out.
He marked me and didn't ask permission.
